Totally Rocks!

I bought these drivers to upgrade my sound system. I have a large show in comparison to most mobile DJs, and I wanted to have the option to work live sound for bands. I am using these in some ported trapezoid cabinets as mids, and the power handling and clarity are awesome. I replaced some older (~15 years?) Eminence drivers that were only rated for 200 watts, and I could immediately tell the difference. If you can afford these drivers for your show, you won't be disappointed.

I'll get straight to the review. I had purchased 2 of these to replace the cheap 12's that were in my Technical Pro Fuse-12 PA speakers. I am currently using a Behringer EP4000 to power these subs and I must say...THESE THINGS POUND!!This thing is HEAVY! It is definitely built to take alot of abuse. The subs are rated @ 600w RMS, and my Behringer amp is pushing them @ 550w RMS @ 8 Ohms. The gain is setup half way on my amp, and man..these subs sound SWEET!I plan on upgrading my 4x10 horn driver with a Selenium D220Ti so it can compliment this beast.The excursion on these subs are crazy...with a 4" voice coil and Xmax of almost 7mm, these things push alotta air. Dollar for dollar, Eminence subs, especially these, are WELL worth it. This is the best subwoofer I have owned...they make my brother in laws JBL JRX115's sound like poop.If you want DEEP BASS, TIGHT BASS, & PUNCHY BASS...get these subs...just make sure you have an amp that can push these @ their RMS rating, and an EQ to adjust the low end, and man...you will have one bad sound system on your hands.I give thes subs 10/10.....heavy duty construction, looks and feels indestructable, very big 109oz magnet. One word describes these subs: AWESOME!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
