work boots

Bougth the boots online and received very quickly through Amazon.com. Soles were comfortable but the top of the boot wore a blister on my lower calf from where they seamed the boot together. They should have made them a little bigger at the top or seam them on the side to eliminate that problem.

Great boots

Boots are very comfortable indeed. Double cushioning works perfectly. However they are rather on narrower side, 2E seems to me like D. Lenght is accurate to size.

The best boot Ever!

I have been buying these boots for 8 years now. Each pair lasts about 1 year, and then it is time for a new pair. I wear these boots only, in as to say that I don't wear tennis shoes or any other type, unless a funeral or wedding is in order. So these boots are on my feet 365 days a year, so you know that they will last, and they are comfortable. My work is in commercial HVAC tech work, which means that I am on top of roofs all day. This is in the summer and the winter, and I live in the upper most part of Ohio. LOts of snow and Ice in winter, and these boots never slip and keep my feet warm and dry.

Great Boots !

I had these boots for 4 years. Winter in Chicago is brutal, however my feet were always dry. I even used them during my recent motorcycle trip, I drove through tropical storm Irene - 600 miles, 5 states, 2 days in the rain - they saved me ! I'm very satisfied with their quality and now I'm shopping for new Wolverines.

Big Boots for a Big Man

This is the second pair of these boots I have bought. I gave the first pair to my son last Christmas. He's 6'4" tall and weighs 350 pounds! He says these boots are perfect for him. He wears them every day.

Bought these boots for my husband. He loves them. He only wears Wolverines for work. He finds them to be very comfortable. I shopped around on the internet and this was the best price I found for these boots. He also likes the removable sole inserts. You can replace them with other inserts. We got free shipping on these boots from Amazon, definitely a plus!!All around good transaction. Good product for a good price.

Conga Light great for limited space and mobility

Conga light is a great conga when you just can't have a full size one due to space/mobility limitations. It is a great sounding percussion instument that does not sacrifice anything and delivers on quality, workmanship and value.

Great little drum but......

I'm new to drumming but not to woodworking, and I can safely say that this little guy is well made.I was half expecting a toy but this is a real drum that sounds great.The one thing that should be mentioned is that though the drum is advertised as having 9" head,the actual playing surface is approximately 7 3/8".It is about 9"diameter for the EZ play retaining/tuning ring.This is an important distinction for some one looking for a certain pitch to fit in with an existing drum set up.I wish those who write catalog descriptions would get together with manufacturers and learn how to describe these dimensions accurately.To the best of my knowledge,the general concensus is to measure a conga by it'sPLAYING SURFACE DIAMETER.This information came from proessional conga players that are endorsed by leading manuacturers but alas,even their own catalogs continue in this inconsistancy.All that being said,...A great little drum.

Good Guitar for the price

I'm a beginner player and found this at an EXCELLENT price ($71). If you find it this cheap, don't wait, because after I purchased mine, it went back up to $150. I got the last one at that price. The blue initially was off-putting to me, but when I received it, it's actually not nearly as blue as it appears in the picture. It's actually a very nice metallic blue and the color is a bit darker than the picture shows.If I had complaints it would be that the guitar didn't come with any documentation at all. The knobs are not labeled and I'll have to do some research/tinkering to see what is what.Aside from that, the guitar is an excellent guitar for the price. I really wanted a Les Paul style guitar, but I couldn't pass the deal up.Shipping was incredibly quick. Even with Super Saver Shipping, I received the guitar two days after I placed the order.

Neumann vs.Shure vs.Sennheiser side by side

And the winner is.......Neumann KMS 105...Hand-held condenser microphone designed for the use on stage...It is like having to sing into a studio micrphone,which you put on stage..However, this one is built to withstand the demands of a stage. And yes, it is harder to sing in it, as this micrphone is non-forgiving at all. But...What a beauty...Depth,warmth, details, air,space...I am in love with it...I already have Neumann in my studio,but can't sing into it on stage,while with this one I can do both recordings and live-performances. I tested all three side by side through the same vocal monitor by Behringer.All three are hand held condensers,top line,high end,premium quality microphones.. Shure KSM 9 was muddy and dull for me. Sennheiser e965 is a great mic by all definitions, no wonder it is used in American idol show. As for its sound,it is bright,oh yes, but there is no space. It is like it is not filling up the whole space,but it is an amazing sounding mic! And then,there is Neumann...Tested side by side,there is a difference,obvious difference. Three ppl in the room unanimously said the same thing.( for those who stand by dinamic mics I will say I have one by Shure and....I prefer condensers) So tonight I surrendered to Germans....ahahahaa.Neumann is made in Germany,put together in Germany and all that. I am in love with this baby and getting in-ear PA monitoring will give me most control along with my own mxer and processor. After everything is done, I should feel totally safe and can rely on the equipment even if there is no sound guy. The best thing about Neumann - you practically don't need to do anything about it, it already sounds amazing. And with the reliable equipement I should feel all the joy from live performance and have all the fun and deliver my best to my audience.Alliluya as they say....!!!!!!!!

Easy to install, strongly advise against buying used

I recently purchased a TomTom GO 700 (US/Canada) version. It comes with the full US and Canada maps on a hard disk inside. There is just over 1GB free space for other maps. Now, being someone that travels to Europe on biz, I wanted to load the latest maps so I can both find my way around by car and on foot. These maps are very detailed and provide extremely detailed POIs so you can find that restaurant you need in a jiffy.The only real problem is being able to load all of euope on to the TomTom -- I estimated that there are over 2GB of maps if you load them all. Luckily, I guess, very few of us will need all of europe at a time. I was able to load all of central europe and UK (left out everything above Holland and also Spain/Portugal/Italy. The post code support is limited to 3 of the normal 6 characters in the UK, this is a problem that I understand I can get around by buying the full postcode database.As TomTom gets more popular I am lookingforward to more maps and features.
