My daughters favorite toy even after 6 months!

My daughter got these stilts for her 5-year Birthday. It only took her about an hour to figure them out and once she did, she was all over the house in them and still is, 6 months later. She is not the type to enjoy a toy longer than 6 minutes let alone 6 months. The one problem we had was that the pole will occasionally twist in the base so that is it nonparallel to the "bigfoot" making it hard to walk and at first, I had to twist it back into place for my daughter. Again, that only took my daughter a day or so to figure out on her own how to twist the pole back into it's proper position to keep on stompin'. GREAT toy. All my kids love it, all the friends love it, all the cousins love it, etc, etc...

Fun and teaches balance

This is a fun toy so far. Everyone wants to try it. It's challenging but helps with balance. I think once my kids (ages 11 & 8) get the hang of it, they will be walking all over. Just be careful that someone is there to "spot" and keep kids who want to try walking on these "stilts" away from fireplaces and TV's (of course).

Extremely fun, yet challenging activity for kids!

My daughter wanted "stilts" for Christmas this year. As an eight year old, I didn't think she'd enjoy those too well. However, I noticed these StompWalkers and thought they might be a good alternative. I was right, she absolutely loves them; it's difficult to get her to walk from her bedroom to the kitchen (or anywhere else) without them! What a GREAT find!! She says that the StompWalkers are her favorite Christmas present this year.I thought that I might add that in order for a child to be successful with these, they must be fairly coordinated. My daughter is very coordinated, but the first couple of times she tried them, she lost her balance and fell; this made her a little frustrated. However, once she slowed down a bit, she picked it up quite quickly.

Had this for some installs, we needed the wire mappers function and got the tone tracer too. Cool toys. simple, effective. We used it for cat5, coax and duplex. Nice functions. Excellent product. wish it came with a carrying case but, those are easy to find.Comes with one remote test dongle so, be sure to get the add on packages if you really want to use this product for more than cable testing...Also, really lightens the mood of a job site during testing to be able to get it out and start preachin' about TESTIFY!!! hehehe

Great Results if used properly.

I have used this joiner for over 2 years, and have made over 1500 frames. It works fine if you read the directions, and use the frame vise provided with the unit. Logans customer service is outstanding! I damaged the unit on a couple of occasions, due to using excessive force. I contacted Logan to order replacement parts, and both times yhey sent the parts free of charge! The second time was even beyond the stated warranty period. The level of customer service alone would entice me to purchase Logan products in the future.

Logan studio joiner

I have used the logan studio joiner Logan STUDIO JOINER Logan Framing Tool Hardwaremany times with excellent results, but not by following their directions or using the worthless vice. The key is to use a strap clamp, and support the work on all sides. For absolutely perfect frames a miter trimmer is the ticket!!. By using the strap clamp you just move the joiner to each corner. No flipping of the frame. The drawback on the logan (either one) is the size limitation of the moulding width. I am going to sell my logan and get the benchmaster with the pushmaster. It will give me the ability to do octagonal frames. The pushmaster can be used independently, meaning moulding width is not an issue.

Is it supposed to help novice framer??? I doubt it ...

I unsuccessfully framed a couple of picture frames. They came out just fine if it were for a weekend framer who could excuse 1/16" of uneven gap at each corner. The problem occurs when I had to flip entire frame while the corner is unstable. The kit comes with two pieces of spacer that should hold two frames so that the right angle V-shape is held stably. But they are hard to be used beneath the frame in the exact position they need while the joiner it self has such a small base board lacking any support to hold joining two pieces with the correct angle with the joint in the tightest contact. It is very frustrating as I struggled to stabilize the pieces together while I was pushing the V-nails into the frames. It has no suggestion of using frame clamp but the frame clamp to keep 4 pieces together must be used in conjunction of polyurethane glue such as gorilla glue otherwise joined pieces come lose a little. As I flipped the joining frames up side down, I could not see what was going on with the connection of V-nails. That just kills me. That was the gamble I always lost. I would purchase a joiner that does not require flipping a frame up side down. In fact, Logan has a higher line of joiner which offers the function. It also offers longer built in frame support to position two frames in stable places. I have eyes on Bench Master Frame joiner too. Now I have to think of how to get rid of the Studio Joiner. I paid less for this inexpensive model but it did cost me more.

A real sense of security

Bought this for my Mom. She had a stroke last summer and has some mobility problems. She fell out of bed recently so I bought this for her so that there would be something that would break a fall. It is most useful though for her having something to hold onto to pull up. With weakness on one side this has made getting in and out of bed so much easier for her. Now she goes to sleep feeling much more secure too with the rail there. It's just the perfect size. A long bed rail would make it more difficult to get in and out of bed. This is perfect because you don't have to take it on and off. Also, the legs that extend to the floor as well as going under the mattress make it very sturdy. If you need one, this is the one to buy!

The Perfect Solution

The HandiRail Bed Assist RailAfter a 16-day stay in the hospital, my 93-year-old mother-in-law came to live with us. Our spare bedroom has a king size bed. Being so weak from her hospital stay, it was difficult to help her lay down on the bed and then move over from the edge of the bed.I searched the Internet most of that night trying to select a bedrail that I thought would work (1) to help her get into bed and to hold to move herself over in the bed (2) to keep her from falling out of the bed.Finally I narrowed it down to two. I kept going back and forth looking at the pictures. The difference I kept seeing was this bedrail had legs that extended to the floor; that would have to make it sturdier than the other one.I chose The HandiRail Bed Assist Rail and am I ever glad I did! Woman Friendly!

I purchased this for my trolling motor as my brother kept on me about getting a battery charger - marine type. Anyway, it works just great and from my perspective, no second guessing, just simple hook it up and forget it! I now have the confidence that I am not overcharging, that I won't get stuck out in the middle of our lake with a drained battery and that my brother is now a happy fisherman as he comes up to the lake and uses MY pontoon and trolling motor which now always has a fully charged battery!!!! Hooray for simplicity and excellence in quality!

I ordered this charger thinking that with the Schumacher name it would last another 25 years like my old Schumacher charger. Nope. It charged one battery then died. I initiated a return with Amazon and got it replaced. Well the replacement charger would not even come on when I got it! Now I am sending 2 of these chargers back to Amazon and will look at another brand for my replacement charger. Wow how quality has changed when the items are made in Mexico instead of the USA where my old one was made. Says a lot about the shape of the country and the world in general.

slow but it gets the battery truly topped off

its slow and methodical.. when the green light comes on the battery is truly topped off to the brim. I have a sears fast charger that does the job quicker ,but the battery gets hot and doesnt seem to go as long on the trolling motor as when i use the schumacker. I have a feeling my battery will last more years using this one.

The best computer case for heavy travelers.

I have been a software developer for 27 years and have been carrying laptops around for the past ten years. Mostly I used a backpack, but now I am employed as a computer hacker that travels around the country, teaching software development teams the tools and tricks of the computer hacker, so that they will be able to create more secure software.Sometimes I have to wear a suit, or slacks and a sportcoat. While backpacks are fine for jeans and a T-Shirt, they seriously disturb the lines of a suit. About two months ago I decided I needed a roll-behind bag that would allow me to carry all of the equipment I needed, while not disturbing the lines of my suit.After a ton of research, I landed on the McKlein Chicago Detachable Wheeled Laptop Case. It also comes with a really nice, matching leather briefcase that I sometimes carry when I just need a laptop and a few accessories for a day-trip.The retail price of this setup is about $500, but I got mine on Amazon for about $180. The shipping was slightly later than I had hoped, so it was deliverd while I was on a trip, but once I got back I immediately transferred the contents of the backpack to the new case and haven't looked back.The McKlein has gone with me on two trips now and is set to travel with me to Canada for three weeks on Sunday. I love it. If it breaks, I'll buy a new one. I'll never carry a laptop in a backpack on a business trip again. IN fact, I'll never use a backpack again. If it's a short, day-trip, then I'll use the briefcase.You can't do better than this set... unless they decide to make one in a distressed brown leather, in which case this one will be on Ebay and I'll buy the brown one.
