A well-balanced speaker that sounds great after break in

Had to return 1st one after a few weeks due to a buzz on low A (guitar, 5th fret on 6th string). Supplier said they have few returns on the Patriot series. Second one had no problem and sounds better all the time as it gets broken in (it's a replacement for the stock speaker in a Fender Super Champ XD). Bell-like tones, good articulation throughout the sonic spectrum. A well-balanced speaker.

Great speaker, sound, value

This speaker is pretty nice. It's built extremely well, as one would expect from eminence, and the tone is very nice. I wouldn't necessarily directly relate this speaker to a vintage 30 Asante people try to do, it's more boxy, or maybe the word is: controlled, in a sense. I like it. It's got tight bass, controlled mids, and available treble response. I think the trebles can get a little honky, but nothing like a vintage 30, they're much more aggressive in that area. Nice speaker.

Beautiful futon frame for the price

After some difficulty putting this together, I now have a beautiful futon frame for much less than I'd have spent anywhere else. The company was very helpful when I did run into problems. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

A Great Value

I purchased this futon frame on a tight budget, I wanted a high quality futon (No crappy metal stuff) that I could use for my first apartment. This is exactly what I got, after reading the previous review, I was expecting the put together of this futon to be a project, a prospect I wasent completely opposed to but merely prepared for. This was not the case at all, it came with great instructions and took around 1 hour to assemble completely on my own. When finished I put the mattress on and jumped into my new (Huge) futon I was so pleased, it is extremely stable and supported my jump without a creak, (all 190 pounds). I have absolutely no complaints about this frame, I am extreamly pleased. This is an incredible buy, no second thoughts.

Good Value

My experience with my DVD/VCR player has been very good. I wanted a unit for my bedroom that would have all the features I wanted, without being terribly expensive. This unit fits the bill. The remote in particular is great. All the most useful functions are right at your fingertips and are easy to find, even in dim light, since some buttons are red and some are shaded with dark grey. My favorite feature is the Resume Play, which allows you to pick up a DVD at the point that you stopped it, even if you turn the machine off. Many of your less expensive DVD players do not have that feature.It has S Video and Component Video output available, but I found that the cables that come with the machine produce quality picture and sound. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a lower cost DVD/VCR combo.

Buyers beware!

This combo drive is pretty lousy in important places. First off, the DVD drive. It will freeze during movies and click and bounce around inside the player. Sometimes it will stop clicking and start back up after a minute or more, but other times it will have to be totally shut off. And secondly, the VHS player. It plays VHS movies fine except for some annoying problems. About a month after purchase the player started squeeling when fast-forwarding or rewinding. Now this might be only annoying, but it makes me question the quality of the machine considering it started one month after purchase. Overall, the only positive feature is the abilty to watch local channels and VHS tapes. That is pretty sad, because this thing should do a whole lot more.

Great heavy bag for your boxing needs!

Let me start off by saying that this heavy bag is a knock out and the red color is a plus! I have been boxing for 2 years already and I own several heavy bags that hang in my home gym and this one is my favorite because of its soft yet firm feel when punching. The bag is of amazing quality and craftmanship and it is keeping its shape very well. I only recomend this heavy bag if your going to keep it indoors where it is out of the elements because the weather will rot the canvas and it will sag and tear in time. I can tell that this heavy bag will be in my home gym for a long time and highly recomend it to any skill level.Now lets talk about the gloves that this combo set comes with. The gloves arent so great... The gloves are speed bag gloves with little padding so I wouldnt use these for heavy bag punching. If this is your first heavy bag be prepared to buy better bag gloves becuase these will not protect your hands.Last I will talk about the jump rope. Not much to say except that it is a nice edition to the set and will provide great skipping practice which is need when warming up to do some real training.All in all I give the heavy bag 4 stars and the gloves 2 stars and the jump rope 4 stars.If your needing a new punching bag or are just starting out then I highly recomend this heavy bag set! Just make sure you buy better gloves.
