Good Basic Bass

After I recommended one to a friend, I got one myself. The online reviews are generally good for this bass, and it's a good buy. The setup was good and it sounded good right out of the box. The strings are cheap and don't help, which can be expected in an economical instrument. I plan to replace them soon with Fender Nylon Tape Wound Strings, which will take this bass into another category. Some of the online reviews mention that the electrical parts are weak and won't last too long. I like to do upgrades, so the pots will be changed for standard Fender CTS pots. So, between the strings, pots and a Switchcraft jack, for under $30 in upgradesFender Accesories 073-9120-406 Nylon Bass Guitar Strings, Light I'll have a good basic bass.

Just got it in the mail today...looks exactly like this pic...except it is pretty small...definitely NOT the size of a real crane--maybe a baby crane. Looks great in my koi pond, but I only wish it was larger, as this is dwarfed by the daylilies and plants around my koi pond, so it doesn't have as much a striking "presence" in my backyard.I guess I'd better really read the specs before buying stuff online next time.

Works great, easy instal

I ordered this unit to put in a GE refrigerator that did not contain an ice maker. The installation was not very difficult. It took me an hour or so to install (I was not rushing). It has been working great. It makes a great amount of ice in a short time. I am very happy with my purchase.

It Works

I ordered this model because it was the one listed in the Owner's Manual. lt turns out you can use the newer model (IM6, I believe) but it may or may not have some design/manufacturing flaws depending on what you read. Either way the unit works great and was easy to install. All of the parts I needed were included (even a few that I didn't need because they came with our refrigerator).The only complaint I have is probably more a design flaw: the ice tends to overfill the bucket until it overflows. It could be an install error on my part I suppose but there isn't too much room for error.

Superb product

Great set of polishing pads

I bought these last year and they're excellent for polishing auto finishes. I had previously tried to use pads an pad covers I bought at auto supply stores, and they were always difficult to use and yielded poor results. These attach easily to my Porter Cable 7424 polisher. They are well balanced and do a wonderful job of removing swirls and light scratches. Cleaning is easy by using a mild detergent and warm water. It helps to hang them on a hook to dry, otherwise the water can pool at the point where the pad meets the surface of whatever you rest it on.

Almost instant improvement!

My 14-year old lab has been on these for 3 years. Initially, it took about a week to see some change. Of course he's a lot slower now at 14 than he was at 11, but he's still on them. I've made sure to never run out and have never tried anything else. These are cheaper than buying the supplements individually, and besides most dogs HATE taking pills. You can use these as a treat, just be careful that some dogs will get an upset stomach if given these on an empty stomach. I put his dosage in with his food. Once you notice your dog slowing down, taking longer on the stairs, or appear to be walking more deliberately, give these a try.

Fantastic!

If you really want to take care of your car finish, this is the kit to buy. Together with a Porter Cable 7424 polisher, you can polish and wax like a true professional.The pads vary from soft to firm. You can change pads in a second. They last and wash clean afterward. This kit is really great.One caution: it's a good idea to cover molding with masking tape when using a power applicator. Or stay away from those areas and do them by hand.This is my third orbital polishing system and by far the best I've ever used.

Using various pads from this kit with my new P/C-7424 polisher, cars are coming out beautifully. Pads appear very durable after two weekends and 3 cars worth of work. They clean up well with water and appear 'like new' after 2-3 hours of polishing work. $80 seems a bit pricey for a kit where I'm only using about 70% of the contents, but then again, if they hold up to multiple projects, it's well worth it.

Bessey clamps are first class all the way, and there's a lot packed into this package. With amazon.com inventory reduction the deal was so good I ordered a second set after I got the first. As the saying goes, "You can never have too many clamps." I hadn't ever seen Bessey pipe clamps on the shelf (only Pony and cheap Chinese knock-offs), and these don't disappoint: well-finished and easy-operating. Bottom line is to price these clamps out separately and see what a great deal you're getting.

Great boyfriend gift

Pictures of similar hitches (same brand, different model) on Amazon show the not-included parts grayed or ghosted out. The picture from the manufacturer's site shows the components all taken apart and the shank is not included.

Amazon please sell cheaper

My friend gave me as gift. I was confused if its for face or body as there is no instruction. My 77 year okd mother told me its for face & very effective for treating wrinkles. I searched the web & was shocked its expensive. I have been using it for 6 months now. My face skin is a lot firmer, smoother & a lot lesser crow feet around my eyes. My skin is firm like that of a 30 year old woman. I am now 47. I purposely did not use it on my neck. And l definitely see a big difference: it is not as firm. Pentaxyl evens out my skin complexion too! But l dont know if it is effective in treating scars as l have not any scars to try it on. A tube of 4ml costs $70. It lasts me 6 months. I used Olay in the past, which cost $20+ for 2ml. But Pentaxyl gives me more satisfaction. However Amazon's price is higher than Ebay which is not only cheaper but also free shipping! Please be more competitive as l prefer to buy from Amazon than from anywhere else..

RV brake controller

I purchased a new suv to tow my camper and when I called the dealer, they told me it would cost me $200.00 to have a controller installed. That was for a bottom of the line controller. I went on Amazon and found the Hayes Energize III for only $57 and the installation was a piece of cake. Not only did I get a much better quality controller, I saved a lot of money. I have already towed the trailer over 700 miles and the braking is so smooth, I can't even feel the trailer behind me.

I have owned an Energize III controller for the past 12 years. As a contractor I tow a trailer at least once a week. From standard utility trailers to 8 ton dump trailers. As a company we have several trucks with different controllers. In this price range we have 2 trucks with Tekonsha Voyager controllers and 1 truck with a lower cost Reese Pilot. of the three, the Hayes/Lemmerz Energizer is the best. The Energize III features a patented sensing device that automatically monitors and measures tow vehicle deceleration and applies the trailer brakes in direct proportion. It reacts instantly to any change in brake pedal pressure and ensures controlled, smooth stops. You can adjust the maximum braking you want like any other controller but it just comes on so smoothly un like the voyger. It is also the easiest to set up. a simple lever on the side that that you point straight down. No more turning a knob untill the diode is just the perfect shade of orange. Also the slide control gives you 100% braking regardless of where you set the controller. I liked this controller so much that I put it in my new 2010 Ford F150 instead of getting the Ford factory in dash unit.

Good instructions and if you want to install it in an '03-'06 Chevy truckyou'll want this:Hayes 81780 Quik Connect Dual Mated Chev/GMC 2007-2003 Wiring Harnesswhich I also bought here on Amazon. Installation was quick and easy.One thing I did different was I used two of my own sheet metal screws to install itsince Chevy had left me a couple holes that lined up. If you install it on the right side like most people do above the accelerator, you'll be putting to the far right close to the doghouse (transmission cover) and you'll need a 1/4" wrench to tighten the screws on that side so pre-start them once. I used my Makita drill with a 1/4" bit and pre-tapped them.This is a great little unit.
