Great for brush clean up

I bought mine to help clear my yard after this winter's ice storm brought down a vine maple. The tree missed the house but filled the back yard. My brother used a chainsaw on the big stuff, I used a pole saw on the high stuff, I used an axe on the low thick stuff, and this woodman's pal on the thinner branches so that we'd have a clear shot at the thicker stuff.It cut a little less well than I was hoping. The pamphlet that came with it said, up to 2" in one whack, well maybe I'm not the woodman I need to be to get a green maple branch that thick off in one whack, 3 or four usually. The axe does do it in one whack but if you have too much brush in the way to swing the axe, this tool worked better.It's now in the trunk with my axe for camping. I had always wanted one of these and I'm glad I bought it. The metal is thick, it did hold it's edge the week it took to cut that mess up. I did buy a DMT FWCX Double Sided Diafold Sharpener Coarse / Extra-Coarse and a DMT DCSFH Diamond Cone Small with Handle for sharpening the hook. A couple of strokes with those diamond stones and the blade was again sharp as new.I like the knuckle guard but it does prevent you from turning the tool in your hand to use the hook side facing out. But in practice that didn't matter. It is made in the USA at the same factory as they have been using since the '40's. and I'm glad to support that. I also bought the oiled leather sheath to go with it as here in the PNW, wet is the word of the weather. On pricing it seems like you can get it direct from the company for the same price and so I did.Recommended.

A recent storm knocked down a large tree nearby, giving me a great opportunity to use the Woodmans Pal and It didn't disappoint. It made the job easier and was a joy to use. Highly recommended.

Awesome Machete

This tool is honestly one of the best outdoor tools you can buy. The blade starts off sharp and self sharpens with use. It can be used for cutting and chopping. So whether you are chopping down trees or just cutting your way through some bushes this is the tool to do it. I haven't been in a situation to test the vine hook on vines yet but it works on small branches and the like. by not extending the blade to the end the manufactures save the blade from hits on rocks that would leave damage. it can work as a shovel but don't expect a miracle from a flat surface. the shipping was timely and the tool was worth every dollar.

For a Glowing Complexion with Fewer Fine Lines - This Is It!

About 8 years ago I first tried the MD Forte line and noticed most that in short order friends and family began asking what I was doing as my skin looked so great. A few years ago I was encouraged to try another line of products and stopped using this one. Slowly over time I realized that my skin was looking older and less clear. Recently I thought I think I'll go back to the Skin Rejuvenation Lotion III and wow! I noticed that my skin started looking better and so did others. My skin alway feels smooth, moist and clean and I have many less fine lines. I encourage anyone who wishes to have a younger fresher look to try this. Be prepared for a stinging sensation at first as it works to remove the dead skin cells that cause a dull dry look. After a short time you will surely be pleased with the results.

TRULY rejuvinating!

MD FORTE SKIN REJUVINATION LOTION is the first thing (out of many products) that has worked for me...and it just make work for you too!Pros: Easy To Use, Improves Skin Texture, Minimizes Wrinkles, Noticeable Results, Little goes a long way.Cons: Might irritate sensitive skin, awful scent, pricey.Best Uses: Fine Lines, Oily/Combination SkinI have been using MD Forte for almost 2 months and have to say that I have never had something work so well, so quickly and impress me quite this much.I am a 44 year old with combination skin and lots of discoloration across the cheeks from sun damage. I have tried many products and have seen very little results until now.I will not say that the discoloration is gone but it is gradually diminishing and I am hopeful that with longer use it will be even more successful.You can feel it working (probably the AHA) but it is a mild irritation that lasts only a few minutes as it soaks in. The longer I have used it the less I notice the sensation. That said, I am not sure I would recommend it to those with sensitive skin unless they want to try one of the milder MD Forte products first.Also, caution about using this anywhere near the eyes...it is not meant to be used in that area, so do not purchase this for improvement in undereye or crow's feet area due to possible irritation.I don't have a whole lot of wrinkling yet (crossing my fingers right now and knocking on wood!) but it has seemed to give my complexion a smoother appearance overall.I am not sure I can afford to use it forever, but for as long as it lasts I will stick with it.UPDATE!!!I have finished up the product (over a course of about three months) and it eventually slowed in its amazing results.I did find the texture of my skin improved, but really did not see any significant change in my skin discoloration in the end. Wish it could have continued to do more for me, but it stopped making any significant changes after about 8 weeks of use.Wish this was a miracle worker, but it has its limitations much like most other products.

Excellent product

I like Dr. Bob's Portable Neck Traction a lot. I have used it successfully to significantly reduce pain when my neck was out of alignment. I was also able to completely eliminate my adult son's neck problems with it--in one treatment for him! Before using the device, it helps a lot to warm the neck muscles for about 10-15 minutes with moist heat. Also, according to a physical therapist I was seeing, the maximum length of time a muscle will stretch is 30 seconds, so I apply and release the pressure by inflating and deflating the neck traction device. It requires a little fussing around to do it that way, but it works really well. I highly recommend this product and have had no problems with leakage of the air pressure.

My chiropractor recommened this item and it is worth every penny I spent. The traction relieved the tight, turtle neck I was experiencing. The pain running down my shoulders has gone. Neck muscles sore from use, but that is to be expected when using this item. Well worth it.

Maybe a great product

I have 2 bulged disks and 2 herniated disks in my neck. I have a pinched nerve which leaves my finger tips numb and my arm at about 20% strength. Besides the pain, the weakness in my arm and the possibility of permanent nerve damage is scary. I have tried acupuncture, chiropractors, Pain management/shots, I have been to orthopedic and neurosurgeons. Physical Therapy is the last step before surgery where they will remove 2 disk and replace it with a dead persons bone and fuse it with a steel plate. I have tried other traction devices such as the over the door and other inflatable's this is by far the best I have tried and I am hopeful that this may relieve the pressure on the nerve. Other reviews on Amazon suggest a petroleum smell, this product I use today doesn't have that issue. I will update the post later with any improvements etc.

Finally found it!

I spent months looking at every shop and internet site for the perfect decanter. I wanted something with a modern edge and which still had some old-world class. This decanter, being full lead crystal and nice and heavy at the base, handles superbly. There are no flaws in the glass, as I noted with certain other 'name-brand' items I viewed in the shops. As I only decant wine every so often, it will spend a lot of its time being ornamental, and serves this purpose equally as well as its designed function of aerating my favourite wine. My husband also commented that the decanter far surpasses any he viewed when looking for one to give me. The only slight negative I could say is that after pouring, a small drip of wine will slide down the lip - but what a lip to slide down! Love it!

Excellent Auger

Just used it for the first time yesterday. Had a total blockage in my main sewer line which caused all the sewage to back up into the basement. I had to run about 92' of this snake into the line...took an hour but powered right through a huge clog involving a root. Comes with 3 blades, used the spade to get in the clog, then pulled back and put the saw tip on and powered right through the root with little to no effort. This machine is the best I have ever used.
