4Truly compact and handy.
By D. Leung
I've had this baby for a few days and have not fully tested it out yet but so far, its beautiful. It's tiny and, above all, really easy to use. Unlike my previous 5 MP digicam, the Sony DP-10, which had a gaggle of complicated features and was had a learning curve to take good pictures, the X60's operations are intuitive. The manual is available and really easy to understand too if you need to read it.Pros:Small, compact, truly a purse camera if you wanted. Others that claim to be small aren't really but this one is!Fast start up. Just slide the cover and it's on.Easy to operateGood picture qualityNice big LCD screenCovered lensInternal 15MB memoryCons. No viewfinder (Not like I use that anyway)Zoom is only standard.I've heard that the LCD in previous models in this line are fragile. I've had no problems so far but you're not supposed to drop a digicam anyway. My first digicam was a minolta 3.2 MP which I lose in Kyoto and I'm glad I went back to a brand I like.

4Compared to the X50 it's smaller, sleeker, better, & cheaper!
By Navid
I had the Konica Minolta X50 (see my review on it), which ended up being defective after about 9 months of normal, delicate use. The battery cover wouldn't stay shut anymore, so back to Costco it went. After researching the "ultra-compact" cameras in the 5.0mp and above class, I found that the minor improvements of the x60, coupled with the larger LCD display and lower price made it the most appealing digital "ultra" compact in the entire category. I mean I put it up against Sony's DSC T-1/T-7/and T-3, Kodak's new EasyShare V-50, Casio's Exilim Z750 and EX-S500, Fuji's FinePix Z1, Olympus, and Pentax Optio. It came out the winner. I'll give it 1 year of use and revisit my review to give another update. In the meantime, if compact is what you're looking for, this camera will meet those objectives plus take excellent snap shots in well lit close range situations. The only thing that remains to be a weak point, is the poor flash range and the poor resolution of pictures in low-light situations. If you're taking night photos, you need to be within the 6 feet and in an area where you're picking up some light, otherwise your subject shot will come out blurry, out of focus, or over exposed.

5Great little camera
By Hern S. Chen
After purchased two little Canon SD200 cameras for my daughters, I decided to upgrade my own bulky first generation HP camera (2M, no optical zoom).I wanted a 4M/5M ultra compact camera and had my eye set on newer Canon SD camera. However, I don't want to pay too much for the camera so I ended up looking for non Canon SD cameras. One of the consideration I have is that I don't want a camera with proprietary memory (so Sony is out) or semi-proprietary memory (I considered xD a proprietary after reading that the panorama mode for some Olympus camera only works with Olympus's own xD card). Finally, I settled on Minolta X60 after some research. I am quite happy with the camera - it is very small, the 2.5" LCD is quite big (no viewfinder though), the control is quite logical, and the picture quality is pretty good. The battery life of about 150 pictures is not quite enough for a long trip but you can pick up non-OEM batteries for a few dollars. The 15MB internal memory is not accessible when an external memory card is plug in. However, it may come handy when you forget your SD card.

5Titan before Vaper
By grasshog
This is a great intro set for the aspiring painter. I was given my set as a Christmas gift about 4yrs ago by my fiance. I have a 65 ford short-box step-side. I call my retirement project, since it may take that long. I'm 35 now. She was helping build my tool collection up towards the project. They have changed the labeling on the box, maybe to add more appeal, but the manufacturer is still Titan. If you check around websites you will find that some of the dedicated places that carry the big dollar guns still have this set in there collection and give it praise. Make sure to get cup screens and a cleaning kit or 2 or 3. It only takes a speck of build up in any gun to ruin the spray pattern, and add more time to complete the project.

By Stephen Ralli
because you would not believe where the paint gets to in the gun - the seals are a bit flimsy - but the spray is nice and even...good value for the money

2Terrible manufacture packaging
By Th3Khan
I received this product with none of the guns secured to the packaging. The paint cups were bent to the point they could not be removed without gouging the cups. There were scratches and scrapes all over everything and looked like they were just thrown into the box. Amazon was quick to replace the guns which is why this gets two stars. However, the second set had the same problems as the first. Buyers beware...

5David Cohen's MyMac.com Review
By Tim E Robertson
What's the best thing about going into an Apple store? The hordes of black-shirted dudes with gleaming iPods round their necks? The Genius Bar answering any and every question that might come up in the Apple universe? Well, in my book it's the rows of Macs with those killer large TFT screens. Even if a lowly Mac Mini is out on display, it will be connected to a gleaming Apple Cinema Display, and even the iMac G5s seem to favour the 20" models. As for the Power Macs, a pair of 24" or 30" screens seems to be the only way to truly show off Final Cut Pro or Logic.Cinema Displays are killer cool, with their gleaming aluminium cases and fabulous industrial design. They are priced as a premium product, and they look like they are worth every penny but that doesn't make it any easier to afford one. I'd always thought that I would never be able to aspire to such a fine window to OS X. However, I have recently discovered that this is not the case. This technology is now available to us mere mortals, for little more than half the price that Apple charges.Come Over to the Dark SideYou see, there is only one supplier of 20" 1680x1050 resolution panels that manufactures in volume - LG.Philips. Accordingly, Dell's 20" 2005FPW panel uses exactly the same LCD panel as Apple's 20" Cinema Display. Dell prices for monitors start out somewhat less expensive than Apple, but are frequently discounted by massive percentages, something Apple is not known for.I needed to replace the 17" Acer panel I was using on my Power Mac G5. It showed poor colour registration and some fuzziness, principally because it only had a captive analogue connector, and no DVI input. It was playing havoc with my digital photography work, and was quite uncomfortable to use for long periods. I decided to get a DVI display, and when I got wind that Dell had a sale on their widescreen displays, I got my credit card revved. Three days later, a courier delivered my new screen. Now, with Dell you get good value, a three-year warranty and industrial design that is firmly placed in the mid-nineties. The 2005FPW is dressed in a plastic shell in standard Dell dark grey, with the occasional silver highlight. However, build quality is very good, and the monitor ships with a robust grey and silver stand with cable management and height adjustment. The stand also allows the display to be rotated through ninety degrees to display a portrait image, though I have not tried this myself as I do not have enough vertical room on my desk. I believe this functionality will work without additional software on any Mac that is running OS X 10.4 Tiger and has an ATI graphics card.As well as this feature, the monitor is stuffed with other goodies as well. There are four inputs (DVI, VGA, RGB and Composite) as well as a plethora of display modes, including a very funky picture-in-picture mode, which allows TV monitoring or multiple PCs to be used in you have them cabled correctly. The monitor has four USB ports, and acts as a USB hub - two are on the back and two are on the side. Dell also throws in power, DVI and VGA cables in the box but as you might expect on a higher-end product, none of the cables are captive to the monitor. The only thing that is missing are speakers. I personally see this as no great loss, as monitor speakers are rarely of good quality. Dell will send a media bar with speakers as an add on to the monitor if required,Yada, Yada, Yada - What Does It Look Like?In a word & superb! Connected via DVI, a bright and clear image of my Tiger desktop is displayed, and running through the calibration screens shows that no changes are necessary. Backlighting is strong and even across the display, and contrast looks fine. DVD and video playback shows little smearing to my jaded eyes, though I have to admit I am not a big movie watcher while I sit in front of my computer. Of course, DVDs play back in the 16:9 aspect ratio they were designed for, and the excellent contrast ratio means that blacks look black and a 'washed-out' image is not seen.I do play the occasional game, though, so I fired up Halo to see how the Dell performed. After adjusting the monitor to display the image in the centre of the screen rather than stretching it to fill the display, I was pleased to see that here too the image was bright and showed little ghosting. What I was really pleased with was the way this display affects my workflow. In Photoshop, you can push the took palettes to the edge of the screen while working on a large representation of your image, browsing images is a much nicer experience as well, and iPhoto really works best on a widescreen display. The Finder takes on a new ease of use as it is easier to drag and drop between two windows that you can actually see, and applications like Mail, iTunes or NetNewsWire really benefit from the extra real estate. The Bottom LineOf course, it makes sense that the extra screen real estate that a 1680x1050 display gives you will improve your computing experience, and it s a no-brainer if the price is right. Here in the UK, you can pick up a decent, brand name 17" 1280x1024 4:3 ratio panel for around £170, or US$300. A 19" 4:3 panel will give you the same resolution for around £240, or US$425. This panel lists with Dell at £507 (US$900), which is £40 less than the price for a 20" Apple Cinema Display. However, I got it from Dell at £325 (US$575), substantially less than the Apple product. I am lead to believe from some of the posts I see online that in the US, rebates can bring the price below the $400 mark!I can remember just a few years ago that 17" CRTs or 15" TFT flat panels were priced at just over £300. The fact that for a little more you can today get such a fantastic display amazes me. As you spend all of your computing time looking at your monitor, and such a device should last longer than your current Macintosh, I feel that these displays represent excellent value for money.MyMac Rating:At this sort of price, I have no hesitation at all at giving the Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW 20" Widescreen Display a mark of five out five.5 out of 5

5This is one beautiful monitor
By Isaac B. Powell
I write this review while using this gorgeous monitor... I am a bit of a hardware snob - I've really only been impressed with the flatscreen monitors that Apple has put out. Until i bought this one (it took some impressive online reviews to convince me) - and i am more than really impressed with it!The colours are so clean and bright - at first it kind of looks surreal, there is almost no loss of colour or brightness at a range of angles (and it is amazingly bright). it raises up and down, swivels 90 degrees (in case you want to view two pages vertically) has a heap of inputs, and is quite attractive also. So, for anyone who wants a good widescreen monitor (a really good one!) get this baby! You will not be disappointed at all! And i really do mean that.

5awesome picture for a resonable price.. buggy software
By Ron Kel
Just bought a brand new one off eBay for about 375 bucks. Lovin it. Im getting rid of my original Dell FP17in. INterestingly, I am running both on a dual monitor card and the differences in clarity owing to the contract ratio are amazing. (I am cheating a bit because the old on is running off analog and this one has the DVI interface.)I love the fact that it has a 4 port USB hub on the monitor, as that helps me from having to fumble behind the desktop.Excellent reproduction of bright and dark colors. Love the fact that it can be rotated, but havent really used the feature much.Cons:- Not really a fault of the monitor, but several applications cant really take advantage of the wide aspect ratio hence its a waste of white space at times.Never thought Dell could make a decent cheap monitor to compete with Samsung, but they did it again.

5Dual VGA KVM works great
By JohnK-Seattle-WA
I bought this dual-monitor KVM for home about 6 months ago. I've used a number of different KVMs over the years, PS/2 and KVM, and both at home and work, but this was the first one with dual monitor support. It was pretty expensive but it was one of the few dual-monitor KVMs I could find.It has a nice low profile and comes in a sturdy metal case with rubber edges (very similar design to an old IOGear I used to have). The cable plugs and KVM ports on the back are color coded so it's easy to know which cable goes where. It came with 4 sets of 6 ft cables, and a PS/2 adapter if you have an old keyboard/mouse setup, so you shouldn't need to buy anything else to use it for up to 4 PCs. It includes a serial cable for firmware updates, although I haven't used that yet. It doesn't normally require an A/C power adapter, although it has an A/C port and the instructions include its requirements if you need or would like to buy one.I'm pretty sure this is only for PCs that support USB for keyboard/mouse; although you can use an old PS/2 keyboard or mouse with the included adapter, I don't think there is any way to use it with PS/2 inputs on your PC. If your PC is PS/2 only, get a different KVM.One of the two VGA cables for each PC incorporates the USB for keyboard/mouse inside it, the other has the audio cables, so you only have the two cables to route to each PC (makes for a nice, clean install). Note: the smaller cables for USB/audio are about 21" long coming off each one, so their inputs on each PC need to be that close to the VGAs. Shouldn't be a problem unless you have a large custom PC I've never seen before. The dual VGA monitors, USB keyboard/mouse, and audio work as expected when switching from one PC to the next. I haven't tried the shared USB ports yet. You can switch PCs through the front panel buttons or a keyboard shortcut (ScrLk+ScrLk+[number]+Enter).I haven't run into any problems and have been very happy with it so far.

5Great except for keyboard interface
By R. Ward
Update: 09 Dec 2011--I finally discovered how to correct the problem of "sticky" keys. Apparently Windows 7 has keyboard properties settings set for relatively fast "Repeat delay" and "Repeat rate". Generally these settings work well if your keyboard is plugged directly into a computer rather than going through a KVM switch, but cause the symptoms described below in my original review if you're going through a KVM switch. To make the change in Windows 7, go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. Select your keyboard in the device list, right-click, and select Keyboard Properties. Choose the Speed tab. I reset "Repeat delay" to the 2nd position (1st being longest, 4th being shortest), and "Repeat rate" slightly slower than the midpoint. Now my problems have gone away completely.Original review: I've had this switch for a little more than a year. For about the first year it worked flawlessly, with all the good qualities described by Bob LaBlaw. But lately I have had trouble with the keyboard function "sticking", i.e. when I press a key the signal may be repeated multiple tiiiiiiiiiimes (e.g.). I have tried plugging the keyboard directly into one computer, then the other, bypassing the switch, and I have no such problems. So I'm pretty sure the problem is in the switch.

4awesome
By Amazonian
tried other dual monitor kvms that would either hang, lose communication w mouse or keyboard after switching computers using the quick key commands-very annoying. this one works perfectly AND using it with ps2 connections. included usb adapter works perfectly as well. One issue is that i can only use the numbers on TOP of keyboard, not the keypad when using quick key commands: scroll lock, scroll lock NUMBER enter.. other than that, smooth sailing.

5Make a template first for super results
By E. Orchowski
The rail bed protector is virtually the same as I purchased over 10 years ago, and I expect excellent results with this latest product. I strongly urge anyone to make a cardboard template to see how the protector will lay on the bed rails before cutting the real stuff. Be especially aware of any tight curves, where the protector will need extra adhesive or trimming for a good fit.

3Misleading
By Phantomman
I was lead to believe I was buying a ORIGINAL WHIRLPOOL 1183054 FILTER but what I received was a similar filter with no Whirlbool box or Whirlpool markings or Whirlpool part number on the filter. Filter shipped has a Part number of RFF05503 has no other information on it and the filter itself was packaged only in a clear plastic bag with no product documentation. Makes you wonder where it was made and if is a true HEPA filter. Was I ripped off?

1This was NOT a Whirlpool filter: Toxic Chemical Smell
By R geist
I ordered the Whirlpool 1183054 Filter and when it arrived it was a cardboard-framed replica of the real Whirlpool filter (which has a plastic frame). I have serious respiratory allergies (hence the air filter?) THIS FILTER STANK of toxic chemical glue! Opening the box caused my entire apartment to smell. I left the filter in an open window for several days, after which it still reeked. I tried to run it in the air purifier to air out the filter, but it caused my bedroom to reek chemical fumes. I had a sinus reaction to the smell. This is not a quality product but an inferior rip-off.

3Bait and switch
By S. Lee
These are not real Whirlpool filters. They are clearly NOT Whirlpool OEM product but rather they are cheap aftermarket Filters with no indication who actually manufactured them.Whirlpool originals are of much higher build quality with plastic rims and the HEPA filter paper itself is of much higher quality than these very cheap knock offs (built with cardboard & cheaper paper). If you could compare them side by side its night and day in quality. The filters they sent also have a very odd chemical smell which is unpleasant.I decided not to even use them they were that cheap.UPDATE:Seller sent out replacements after my complaint. Ammending rating to 3 stars.

3whispure hepa filter
By g'ma
This is a wonderful filter. It was packed properly and arrived rapidly. However, it is the wrong filter. It is for the Whirlpool Air filter the next size LARGER than the one for which I was ordering it. The carbon filters I ordered at the same time were the right size. This one is too big.Luckily, I happen to own the machine for which this filter is designed, as well as the smaller one, so no harm was done.I suggest you, as the vendor, check your listings and your orders with a better eye to detail.
