great to wear while playing Thomas or Brio!

My 3 year old boy got this for a birthday present and wore it for Halloween. He never refused to put it on! His 5 yr old sister wears it, too. It is very good quality, and will last until he is 6, if he still loves trains then. It doesn't have to have the Thomas logo on it for him to love it. The accessories are very fun and appropriate. Whistle, pocket watch to run on time, tickets, wrench to fix things on the trains, and a walkie talkie that makes soft train noises. The hat and scarf are well-made and don't fall off. We are getting more imaginarium dress up clothes for Christmas!!!

What a big hit !

This was a really great purchase. The concept is really simple but to my toddler, he is the rage ! He loves it and the first night we received it, he even slept in it! The costume is great quality and it's simple enough for my toddler to put it on himself. Great for a cold Halloween in New England too as we are able to layer warmer clothing underneath. The whistle, tickets and the walkie talkie are great additions for play. Great quality for a great price !

Loves it. Pretty cute. Watch actually works. Loves the radio that makes real train noises. He is now almost 5, and does not wear the actual clothes anymore...but still loves the accessories! Worth it.

fun for a first set of doctor toys

I bought this for my twins to get them ready for their 2-year doctor appt. The packaging says "stethoscope really works," which means that if you press it against the "patient's" chest, it depresses a button that makes a heartbeat sound with a flashing light. The lab coat is large for my 2-year-olds, but I just roll up the sleeves and it works great. Most of the accessories will fit in the lab coat's pockets. There is a cloth/velcro bandage, a cloth/elastic surgery mask, a pretend blood pressure cuff (cloth/velcro arm piece) with a red bead that goes up & down, a very chunky thermometer with a somewhat disappointing pretend read-out mechanism, a very nice clipboard with a patient history pad & a prescription pad, a plastic reflex mallet, and a syringe with a spring mechanism.Of course the toys are not going to be very much like the real thing. But my kids have enjoyed playing with it, and it gives them some idea of what a doctor does. It has plenty of pieces, and as they get older, they will enjoy using it for pretend play.I paid less than half the current listed price for this. Check different places for "Imaginarium doctor dress up set" before you buy!

Quality pretend play

My son received this as a birthday present - it's a comprehensive doctor set with prescription pad, patient chart, bp cuff, stethoscope, facial mask, thermometer & more. The MD coat is well made and has numerous pockets to hold most items (clipboard is too large for the pockets). Within the past few days the whole family has been cured of all sorts of terrible diseases, broken bones & the occasional "exploding heart". I would recommend this for any child who loves to role play, and likes to pretend having strange ailments, broken bones, etc.

C'mon its a G.I. Joe

This G.I. Joe is a real american hero. This is one of the best to ever be put in production, trust me i know i have over 120 of these bad boys. The real paratrooper is action is a plus sometimes i like to climb the cell phone tower in Old Man Jenkins cow pasture and throw him off and watch him glide down gently. (A little advice, a homemade parachute made out of a quilt and some fishing line does not have the same effect). But anywho i would definitely recommend this action figure to any child or 38 year old man who collects and plays with them.

realistickly real

I like the gijoes that look like the real soldiers... I think that hasbro should not make those stupid sigma six and valor vs venombecause they look like (small soldiers) I mean realy they are made of hard plastic and the cloths don't come off, they have stuff like (plasma super cannons). And about the body don't get me started about the body, the arms are bigger than the legs scary! take it from me a real army brat the colectible gijoes play better then sigma6 and valor vs venom JOEL S. FORT RILEY KANSAS 1st INFINTRY all the way!!!!!!!! HOOA!

The last of a great GI Joe

My 7 year old son was so disappointed that Hasbro decided to discontinue the 12 inch G.I. Joe. This Joe comes with a lot of great gear, a working Parachute and a great uniform. He loves it and is still asking why they Hasbro has gone with the 8 inch line. The whole point is to be able to pose them and be able to buy additional uniforms and gear to play different time periods. I have purchased vehicles from WW II and Modern time periods to go with the Joes we have for epic outdoor battles. I grew up with G.I. Joe, and have started my son with them. Hasbro has made a big misstake discontinuing the 12 inch Joe. Yo Joe!

A big bridge for big boys (3 yo+) with lots of LEGO Duplo trains

OK, others provided reviews of the fun. I want to provide additional useful information in my review.First, I selected the LEGO Duplo trains for our son because they are very high quality and not as expensive as other wooden push trains. And of course, they work with everything else that is LEGO, making the value so much greater. He can mix and match pieces from all his other LEGO Duplo stuff.The bridge looks impressive and it is big for a toddler toy. Be sure you have enough track and floor space to make this work well for you. If you only buy this bridge and a Duplo train set, you may not have enough track.Consider buying several boxes of LEGO Duplo 2734 straight track and at least one LEGO Duplo 3775 switches and 2735 curved track to add to what you have with a Duplo train set, such as the LEGO Duplo Legoville Deluxe Train Set (5609).You can also use any of the push trains (esp. Thomas and Friends series while you can find them) with this bridge, but the Duplo motorized locomotive is excellent, and is proof that toys can be designed and built to work properly and last for years.The bridge is designed with cogs in the 'rails' (really wheel gutters) so that the motorized Duplo engine can climb the bridge approach without slipping.The educational benefit for this bridge is primarily two things I've observed:learning to assemble a complex structure by following the illustrations on the box, and learning about clearances for trains going under the bridge or over the bridge through the plastic girder truss structure. And there is great potential to re-purpose the bridge components for other things with Duplo parts. This continues almost two years after purchase, unlike almost any other toy set he has.The illustration on the cover shows every individual piece (separate and assembled in three configurations) so that you can encourage your young child to carefully check the picture to figure out how to assemble it. It's not obvious, but it's not any harder than any other LEGO Duplo item.If you have enough track to allow the train to pass under the bridge as well as over it, then your child can learn about oversized loads on the freight cars and what will fit and what won't. This is play, but it is educational play in my view, that makes this kind of toy worth the money. If you can't acquire it at retail prices then you may need to pay a premium. These are hard to find. I got mine right here at Amazon. (I can't offer advice on the value per dollar, just on the toy itself in the context of LEGO Duplo trains.)Advice: don't discard the box -- the illustration is useful for assembly.Keep the pieces for this bridge segregated from the rest of the train set when put away. I use a ziplock bag to put the small blocks in, and the large pieces go in the box. If all the pieces get mingled with every other set, then it won't be likely that the bridge will assemble as illustrated. Your child can always substitute different colors and shapes to get the required lift, but the blocks that come are perfect and unique for this purpose.

Excellent addition to duplo train sets

The bridge is an excellent addition to our duplo train set. Both our children - nearly two and three - squeal with delight when the train comes over the bridge. I think the product is not available in the US at the moment - it is available overseas - but I hope that Lego in the US will bring it in again. It is alot of fun. Hint - cut out the picture of the train from the box so you can remember how to put it together (there are no instructions in the box).

Hurray for Lego Duplo Trains!

There is nothing more exciting than putting the Lego Duplo Thomas series together with my 2.5 year old. The bridge is a bit complicated to figure out at the beginning but it helps to keep the box for a few days to look at the picture. Now we can put it together in no time. It not only lets him practice hand-eye coordination but teaches him how three dimensional objects fit together. Great toy, especially when you have other parts of the Thomas series to add on to it.
