Hey there — check it out! I've come up with a cool new way to position overhead mics. You see, I've trained up these squirrels to cling to the ceiling with microphones strapped to their backs. Pretty cool, huh? Only there are a few kinks left to work out, like how to get them to hold still and not chew through the cables. So, it looks like we're still going to have to use a pair of On-Stage Stands SMS7650 HEX-BASE Studio Boom stands to get the job done for now.

5HEAVY DUTY! Yeah!!!!!!!!
By J. Bryant
This is a great heavy duty mike stand that I don't have to worry about tipping over easily while I'm using it. It's about time I got something of this quality. It's also nice to have the casters so you can move it around easily as it is a bit heavy.

5Amazing stand! Very good value
By GameMaker
This is a really amazing stand. I can't say enough good things about it. I've used it for several movie gigs so far, where I had to film live music and interviews. The stand is so versatile in all the positions it can do. It lets you put the mic 7 or 8 feet up in the air (over the heads of the subjects), low to the ground, or anywhere in between, thanks to that long, adjustable arm.I think I've "sold" several of these now too, because everytime I've used it, people have asked me about it and where they can get one. It's that good.

4Great in the Studio, Possibly Too Bulky for the Road...
By Mike, Lead Whitewaller
Let me start this review by saying that I use this stand with a shotgun microphone for video interviews, which may not be the typical use for most users. For that purpose, it has served me well. Since I typically try to boom the microphone just out of my shots, most boom stands' height adjustment just isn't tall enough. The Good News...- This stand allows me to shoot much wider than I would otherwise be able to with other stands. The boom arm's length, in addition to the height capabilities make it a good fit for studio work.- The heavy base and counterweight set-up allow me to not worry about the stand going over and falling on clients. Always a good thing.- Casters work very well for making set-up changes quickly. The Bad News...- The weight is a blessing and a curse. In-studio, I don't mind it. But, when I have to shoot on location, I *hate* lugging this thing around.- It doesn't break down as compactly as I would like it to, but it wasn't designed to do so.Cliffs Notes...I'd recommend this stand to anyone who a fixed location. Or an assistant to lug it around. Whichever. For me, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for something less bulky to use on location, and leaving this thing in the studio, where it belongs.

4Decent faucet
By Nuknuk
I bought this from one of the leading hardware stores close to home for the price which is about the same. I was afraid to do a DIY but also determined to save money instead of having a plumber coming to my house. I probably watched around 10 video tutorial online on how to replace a kitchen faucet before finally deciding I can do it. I did my bathroom sink faucet before but this time I was a little hesitant with all the additional piping, the sprayer, dishwasher connection and with the disposal close to it.One of the assistants at the store suggested a special wrench called a basin wrench. I did not buy it because I want to try my own set of tools first before buying something that may only have a one-time use. Actually, the only difficult part for replacing faucets is removing the old nuts under the sink. If it is too tight, rusty, loose or damaged, then you will need the help of special tools. Luckily, I was able to remove them using a regular large mouth adjustable wrench.Placing the new faucet is much easier than removal of the old one. The 400-DST is very easy to install. The included instruction is not very easy but also not very difficult to follow. It is just that there are too many texts and languages which was confusing at first. Just make sure you have plumber's putty and Teflon tape around. And also, make sure do not over tighten them as most of the threads are plastic in construction. Just use your hands to tighten them. After installation, run the water a few minutes to release all factory residues. Tilt to the left for hot water, right for cold water, and middle for warm. This faucet is not the fancy type. It is very simple looking and just at the price range I need for a regular counter top I have in my townhouse. If I have granite counter top, I might look for a different kind.Cons:- The hoses that came with this model is cheap plastic that is not easy to bend. Compare that to stainless braided hoses that are sturdier and much easier to work with.- Mostly plastic.

4Beware cheap spray hose connection
By Larry
Bought this dude a year ago. Works good and all, but like the above review, I too noticed the hose is too stiff, takes forever to loosen up even with hot water running thru it. Then when you put it away and the hose cools off it stiffens up again in the bent position and round and round you go.HERE'S A REALLY HANDY TIP!!: The faucet sprayer design has the diverter valve for the spray incorporated in the hose connection under the sink. It's the little black plastic end on the hose that you plug into the fitting when you install the hose. SAVE THE LITTLE PLUG THAT YOU REMOVE TO INSTALL THE HOSE END!!! (like I wish I'd done!!) The little black plastic end on the hose assembly is very brittle and will break off if you pull too hard on the hose to get the stiff SOB to come out like it should. This will cause a flood of water under the sink every time you try to use the faucet. If you save the plug removed at installation, you can at least plug up this connection (after removing the broken piece) and use the faucet until you can get a new free replacement hose assembly from Delta (10 -14 days) or buy a new one from the store (at the tune of $30 or so). You can't just get the little black plastic end (go figure). All in all, this is a good faucet. But just don't try to treat it like your old one, 'cause just like everything else these days, new doesn't mean better.

4Delta faucet, no hassle install & smooth operation
By Thomas M. Hauwiller
Ten minute install, no tools. Supply tubes with connectors attached were included. This model allowed mounting of a filter at the spout. The rotation of the faucet and the operation of the handle were noticeably smoother than the faucet I replaced. Some would quibble with the sprayer that has more flow at lower pressure than I was accustomed to. Lastly, shutting off the faucet requires that the handle be centered or it will trickle, annoying at first.

5Little Workhorse
By J. Roberts
I bought the Scansnap partly because of the glowing reviews here on Amazon, and I not disappointed. Rarely do I find a product worthy of 5 stars, but this little guy deserves it. As noted in some of the other reviews, the ScanSnap is sort of a one trick poney - it is designed to quickly scan and archive documents in PDF. Don't expect it do a good job with photos, and as noted, it won't do a grayscale image. It's small size, ability to duplex, excellent document feeder, and fast operation make archiving large numbers of documents feasible. The driver software is simple to use, and you can create and save profiles for different scanning needs such as simplex, duplex, color, better quality etc. The profiles make it easy to switch settings on the fly. The vast majority of documents will be legible using the Normal (fastest) settiing, which helps keep file sizes small. For documents with very fine print, I found that the "Better" mode adds enough resolution to make even the smallest text legible. The ScanSnap Organizer software that ships with the scanner is a simple Paperport-style document manager, in which you can create File Cabinets with Folders to organize your paperwork. What I like about it is that it the folder structure you create in the Organizer is mirrored on your harddrive with a ScanSnap directory and subdirectories named the same as the File Cabinets and Folders you create. You can therefore find your documents by just browsing your harddrive. Because the file format is PDF, you can't stack pages and documents together through the Organizer like you can in Paperport. You have do this in Acrobat and save the file. Organizer doesn't have a lot of advanced features, but I prefer the simplicity of it.I went through a big pile of personal stuff in about an hour. It sure feels good to put that stack of paper into the shredder. Of course, the downside to archiving documents into digital format and getting rid of the originals (which I suppose is the point of the endeavor) is the possibility of data loss. You'd better adopt a reduntant backup strategy, because hard disc drives can and do fail. I sycnhonize to multiple computers and will write my files to DVD for protection. I suppose if you're really cautious, you could subscribe to one of the online backup services for secure off-site backup. If you think the price is a little stiff, remember this scannor duplexes, which enormously simplifies the archiving process by eliminating the need to flip and rescan pages. Also, by duplexing, all pages are put into a single file in the proper order. I'd also point out again that the document feeder is truly remarkable in it's ability to feed just about any size and shape with out jamming. You can even do receipts that come on slick thermal paper. Occasionally ScanSnap will make a mistake in page orientation or will crop improperly. I found this happens with half-length documents, which you need to insert sideways to scan properly. One of the reasons this package was appealing to me is because it comes with Acrobate Standard 7.0. A word of warning - Adobe has seen fit to remove all the form-making features from Acrobat Standard, though they left the ability to insert and remove pages, annotate and comment. If you want the all the great features of Acrobat to create forms, you have to buy the Pro version.

5Home clutter? This thing'll fix it....
By Scott C. Anderson
I suffered from constant clutter do to all the bills, statements, contracts, etc that I get bombarded with on a daily basis. I searched for HP duplex scanners, but they're pretty pricey and, having owned an HP flatbed scanner, I new that the software sucked. So, when I saw the Fujitsu came with Adobe Acrobat (Std), I became interested. I finally sprang for it ($420 - $50 rebate) when I had some extra cash laying around.Let me tell you, this is one of the best home office purchases I've ever made! The scnaner has a small footprint and the in and out feed guides fold or slide back into the unit to save even more space. Additionally, the fliptop infeed guide automatically powers the unit on, which is a nice little convenience! If you're scared by the price, remember that the software comprises a LARGE share of that price. Acrobat retails for $300 by itself. For $75 more, you get a pretty cool little scanner too with this unit. The Adobe software is outstanding. It allows for EASY manipulation of all your pdf files....For example, I had bank statements dating back to 2000. I scanned them all in individually at first to separate files. However, I later realized it would be easier to save the statements in one file, bookmark each month, and just add new statements to the beginning of the file keeping it in chronological order. So, fired up adobe, selected "Create new pdf from multiple files", arranged them in chronological order, and pressed OK....Voila, a new file with all the statements for 5 years...Little more work to bookmark, but easily done. File is about 40 MB in size, but each month had about 5-8 pages, for 60 mos....Anyhow, this scanner is outstanding.....unjams VERY easily....Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't scan odd-sized paper very well in the "Auto" mode...But this package was WELL worth the price to me...If it ever breaks down, I'd definitely buy the same model again. I rarely am impressed by things, but I must say this little unit is an outstanding buy!! I HIGHLY recommend it...

4Great scanner
By C. Hansen
I purchased this unit to reduce the boxes of papers I have in storage. As my files have grown, I have found it increasingly difficult to find a given document in short period of time. I am also concerned about the security of my documents is this era of identity theft. I purchased the unit to address each concern, but not as a scanner for photos and slides. I plan on purchasing a flatbed scanner for that mission. So, after reading a bunch of reviews online, I purchased this scanner. As is typical for me, I didn't even open the box for about a month - too much going on. I finally busted it out tonight. Setting it up was a snap and I had no issues with compatibility with Windows XP on my lap top. I plugged the ScanSnap into the wall and into my laptop's USB port and in moments I was scanning documents. The software controls are pretty basic and all I needed for scanning a lot of loose text documents (my primary purpose for this unit).I had not used the full version of Adobe Acrobat previously, and found the "extraction" feature to be a big time saver, as one can scan a bunch of unrelated documents and "extract" them in to separate files later on the computer, instead of creating files one at a time via scanning.Documents that had been damaged, dog-eared or folded sometimes would not feed properly. The same documents would have jammed the photocopier at work, too. Clearing jams is easy: lift the lid with one finger, pull out the document, correct the paper defect, reinsert and scan from where you left off. Very cool.I got a couple of messages that a data transfer error had occured during the scanning. Not sure what that was about. I stopped the scan, restarted it, and scanned the documents with no problems. It's simple, fast on all but the highest setting, tiny, and works great. It is definitely portable, which is good, as I have a lot of stuff at work for it to digest. Check it out.Chris

5I love mine
By A. Phagan
I bought one of these used, after taking it to a local shop for a set up, it plays like a dream. Other musicians are always amazed at the great sound that comes out of a "girl guitar." I even have men ask to borrow it to play shows. I highly recommend this guitar.

5My first guitar!
By Gwen Cope
I've been wanting to learn how to play guitar since FOREVER, but those big, guy-sized guitars always bugged me -- the necks were too wide, the strings too hard to press down, the guitar too bulky to hold right -- so when I heard a rumor that there was a company out there that made guitars for girls, I jumped on it! I must admit I was a little apprehensive about getting an "atomic pink" guitar (since I'm more of a black guitar kinda girl), but since this was the best guitar, at the best price, I gave into the will of the universe and just got the pink one. I have to say that it is NOT a stereotypical "girly" pink, at least not to me -- it is gorgeous and sparkling and cosmic. It sounds great, plays great, and I TOTALLY love it! Thanks, Daisy Rock!

5OMG! It's so beautiful -- way better than pictured.
By Sam Toft
Wow, it's gorgeous. The price on Amazon was amazing! First of all it's the Rock Candy Classic, not standard, and the humbuckers are shiny black nickel, they are the glossy, shiny square kind, not the old fashioned black ones. All of the hardware is black nickel rather than chrome. The humbuckers are duncan designed, the tuners are Grover! It also has the push pull control to split the humbuckers, and the volume and tone controls. I cannot believe how gorgeous the pink sparkle is in person. I was a black guitar type of girl, but then I thought, if I really want a "girl guitar" and a true Daisy Rock then I need to have at least one hot pink glitter guitar. I am so glad that I purchased it. This guitar sounds excellent, the humbuckers were upgraded from prior models. Everyone has their own taste. This is my 4th daisy rock, and the cutest! It's so punk rock, not little girly baby pink.

418'' thin crash
By blast beat
I love this cymbal. full sound long sustain. The only thing IM not crazy about you need to hit it hard for a full crash sound. I play speed death metal and playing fast sometimes you cant strike cymbals as hard as you like to. But u know I will deal with it. U can hear the full line of pastie cymbals at paiste.com. I think the 16" thin would be better for DM music. If you play any other type music you will loooooovvveeee this cymbal. my set up from left to right 14 sab HH 18 paiste thin crash. 16 zil. thin crash and paiste 18 thin crash zil 20 ride wuhan 10 splash thats it good luck BLAST BEAT

5Great crash/ride for the money
By C. Flynn
I bought this a few days ago. I liked Paistes 18" thin crash so much I had to get the Crash/Ride. I've seen and heard it on a YT channel (bonzoleum) and it blew me away how great it sounded. It's made from a great alloy called 2oo2 B8 Bronze...Paiste's best B8 alloy...blows the other cymbal makers out of the water. In fact the PST5 cymbals took the place of the Paiste 505 line from the 80's which was a awesome cymbal series. They just gave it a new look and name but it's the same quality just at a lower price.Anyway....this is a great crash/ride, you can't beat the price! You'll be surprised by the great sound.
