Very Excellent Hammock Stand

After assembling the stand I was very pleased with my decision to purchase this one. I also ordered an extension, thinking that for my Mayan family hammock I would need to make it longer. But to my surprise, the hammock fit perfectly without the extension, and because the height of the stand can be adjusted pretty high, you could put a longer hammock in it because of this. Very heavy steel, well enameled, excellent workmanship and very easy to assemble. ***** - Definitely a five star purchase.

Clever design, well made.

It's designed in Germany and mfgd in China. I'd say DEFINITELY locate and purchase the extension kit. I did. I have a large Guatemalan hammock that I've owned for years that's barely seen any use -- usually on camping trips. It finally occured to me to research and secure a hammock stand, and it's really delightful to be able to laze in the hammock in the shade of the house on summer afternoons. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago!---A few notes from five years later: Do yourself a big favor and buy some kind of metal primer and a disposable bucket and a funnel and POUR the primer down the inside of every piece of this stand to keep rust at bay. Just do it. This is an old aircooled VW trick -- make stuff last forever, or close to it. You might also want to go to an auto supply store and buy a tube of anti-seize compound and apply it to the hardware as you tighten it -- this is much easier than trying to bust free a frozen bolt!!!

Hammock Chair Stand

The stand is very nice, once put together. That is a task that should have at least 2 people. And put it together exactly where you intend to use it, as it is not easily moved from room to room. But once you have it up, it is very nice - with only a little bending when you sit or swing.

Hammock Swing Stand

I really like this product and use it daily even at my 208 pound weight. After looking at numerous chair stands I decided to go with this model. I didn't like the more expensive ones that have one arm to connect the hammock chair. It just didn't appear as stable as this one. Also, I wanted something that was heavy (50 pounds), made of durable steel (not plastic) and had very simple setup and few parts. After 5 minutes of setup, I wondered if there was something else I needed to do, being that I'm the type of person who always has extra parts when assembling and rarely uses the instructions. For me, this is a fantastic buy for the price. The only down side of it is that it only comes in a white color. My wife swings too far back and the front comes off the ground 1/2 an inch and when she goes forward the exposed gray steel moves up a little. The exposed steel works well as the flexibility to smoothly rock the swing.

Fantastic hanging chair stand

This stand is really sturdy, all coated steel and very easy to put together. I am a little over 100 lbs and I put this together in ten minutes and got it outside onto my lawn with no trouble. This is also easy to take apart, which is great for winter.

Soft, sturdy hammock

Love this hammock!! It is soft, sturdy, and fit very well on my hammock stand. I feel like curling up in it and going to sleep. Climbing carabiners work well to mount it on your hammock stand. When this wears out, I would definitely buy one exactly like it.

one word: NAPTIME! This hammock is SOOOO comfy and lovely for a nap in the afternoon- gently swaying in the breeze.My only negative comment is the smell of the fabric upon arrival- it has a not so pleasant musky "raw cotton" smell that needs time to dissipate after opening and airing out. It really would be best to wash it in order to eliminate the smell completely; but you can't wash or dry this thing in automatic washers and dryers! Hand washing and drying would be quite a chore- one I haven't tackled yet; hence, a faint lingering scent still remains in mine (but not enough to prevent me or my husband from falling asleep easily!!) All in all, a great purchase!

Excellent hammock

This hammock arrived as described and seems very well made, I love the natural fiber, it's soft rather that harsh against the skin and the hammock is large enough to envelope you as you lie in it. The only problem is keeping everyone else out of it when I finally get the time to relax in it!

Not perfect but still pretty amazing

I just bought my first MP3 player, the RCA Lyra RD2312. This one has an FM tuner, takes an SD card, records and plays WMA and some other sound formatsI spent most of the first day reading the manual and trying to figure out the quirky user interface. There is a lot of text on the little screen. Once you get used to it, the extensive functions are pretty intuitive to navigate.I think this is a good quality item. The music sound is excellent. The radio reception is really good too. The volume goes a lot higher than I will ever listen to it. The battery life is incredible. The Battery-Low indicator is on but the same single alkaline AAA battery is still going strong after playing for almost three days solid. The clip-on ear buds sound fine but I think I will try to replace them with something more comfortable.Being able to add in SD cards means you can take along as much music as you want. It's a small consolation that this model only supports up to 512MB cards. A plastic insert comes in the card slot. There is nothing but friction holding in the card. The card hangs downward when you wear the player on the neck strap and I'm a bit worried that the card could shake out but it hasn't happened yet.Altogether, I am very happy with my choice and I would certainly recommend it to anyone else. The user interface and the card position are not major weaknesses. For this price, it's hard to find an MP3 player with all the features, sound quality and battery life this one has. For the most part, I think this is a top-notch item.

Good size for runners

The size and weight of this device make it desirable for joggers or walkers. The FM reception is not as good as my old arm band FM radio. The head phone jack had a small short in it straight out of the package. Have to position the plug perfectly to prevent signal cutout. The display is very detailed and has alot of features. I'm sure they would be nice if the lettering was large enough to read!!

Great little player!

I bought one of these needing one for working out, and now everyone in the house has to have one!Two teens in the house fighting over mine just isn't going to get it. They've already worked out that they just have to put in their memory cards, and they can ignore the music I have loaded on it.I like the ease of loading it, just drag music from the pc to the folders that come up when you plug in the usb cable, and it's set. The type is small on it the display, but I figured that with as small as the player is.The earphones that came with it could be better ( too big for my ears), but switching with ones I already had was an easy fix.Clear sound is great, even of the recording that it does.Love that it has an f.m. tuner as well.Like I said - great little player!

Solid Club

Ordered this club (3,5 and 7) used for a friend of mine because he didn't want to spend too much on new clubs. The clubs are very nicely designed and hit straight and long. Nickent was (bankrupt) a really good club maker.

Good stands, great customer service!

Have used the stands for about 6 months now, and they serve the purpose perfectly. At 36 inches, they aren't the most stable things in the world for the 15 lb. bookshelf speakers I have mounted to them, but they are working fine.I accidentally threw away my wire covering panels for the back and contacted Sanus regarding buying replacement panels. They shipped them to me free of charge! I am very impressed and will definitely buy Sanus products in the future.

Fantastic

I was very scepticle of buying any speaker stands without being able to take a close look at them. This product allayed my fears. The multiple options for mounting the speakers as well as the inclusion of differing types of feet for the stand itself allowed for use on carpet as well as on a hard surface. This product is well built, well engineered, and simple to assemble. The sound from the speakers on these stands is great. I highly reccomend these stands. And yes, the box listed does include a pair of stands, not just one.

Solved my problem

I was experiencing a real low humming noise coming from my subs that are built into my floor standing speakers when everything was shut off, but still plugged in. I suspected maybe it was from all the electricity traveling through the nine components I have plugged into a large surge protector, but who knows. I tried a couple of different quality sub interconnect cables with no luck until I purchased this cable that had the extra ground wire. Not only did it take the humming noise away the quality of my bass increased. Audioquest makes a great cable.

More explosive than Monster Cable

After years of using Monster Cable, I became upset by the low frequency hum of my subwoofer.I began to look for a new subwoofer cable.After reading reviews of several cables I decided on the Audio Ouest.The difference in sound is hard to explain, , its as if you were speaking from behind a curtain, and the curtain was removed. Everything became clearer.Not only was the bass louder and deeper, it made my whole system sound better.It was like adding new speakers or receiver but a lot cheaper.I also added an Audio Quest Y-splitter. The combination got rid of the hum . It's hard to believe they made such a big difference.Im a very satisfied customer.
