DURABLE!

My kids love playing construction, both indoors and outdoors. We've gone through a number of toy construction vehicles that have been made of plastic and just don't hold up. These vehicles are constructed of die-cast metal, are quality constructed, are the perfect size and work great! They have held up to all of the snow and earth-moving my boys can throw at them. They wash off easily when my kids want to bring them in the house. Nothing has fallen off, broken or stopped working on these (we bought several different vehicles). My boys really have fun with them and I especially love that they are all imagination---no batteries, no electronics, just imaginative fun! They're more expensive than the plastic vehicles, but well worth it!

Four Wheel Loader

This is a wonderful "digger", as my grandson calls it! It is all metal, not plastic, and rather small, but that makes it good for little hands now, and something he will keep and use for years. It has good working parts, great tires, and is overall very educational as to what it does...where it goes, and how it works...everything a little guy needs to know!

Excellent value for a durable product

We purchased this paired with an excavator for our grandsons about 5 months ago.Nearly half a year into their life they are still going strong with all parts in tact. Our little guys (2 and 3 1/2) just love these and play with them outside for hours.I definitely want to pick up some more.If you have a little guy or gal that is totally into "Bob the Builder" or "Mighty Machines" they're going to LOVE these for a long time!Great product!

Nice mixer case

This case was a little large for my use (Tascam DP-24 recorder), but should be fine for its intended use. The zipper was a little hard to operate around the corners, but seemed sturdy. The side pocket works well for holding cables and a microphone.

Excellent All Wood Table (No Particle Board)

First of all, the packing was unbelievably good. A large outer box surrounded the inner box with blown-in foam all in-between. It took longer to get it out of the packaging than it did to fasten the four legs to the table. But one thing for sure, it will survive the shipping process. I was trying to be cautious when tightening the bolts to the Pem nut inserts in the legs, but on one leg, I heard the dreaded pop sound. But even though the Pem nut lost some anchoring, it still managed to hold reasonably tight. The table surface is somewhat of a butcher block design. The table top is not as polished as implicated in the photograph, but still smooth. There was a thin layer of oil and dirt that easily wiped off. I put some furniture polish on afterwards.The table dimensions listed here on Amazon are incorrect, especially the table height. The height is close to 29 inches, fairly standard and certainly not 37 inches as listed. I wrote to the seller twice and each time they responded with incorrect dimensions. I finally just took a chance based on the photograph and ordered it anyway. I was convinced that they didn't know much if anything about what they were selling. It arrived via FedEX about a week later. I had to help the FedEx driver carry it to my door entrance because it is pretty heavy. I was very pleased to find it was real wood construction and no particle board visible.

Good value

Mainly seconding the other reviewer -- I, too, was worried about the supposed 37" height, but trusted the review and indeed it did arrive at a normal dining-room-table height of roughly 29". Looks good, feels solid, good buy.

These little cards have a BIG impact!

The cards are good because they focus on one reading skill at a time and let students build their reading level as they work on a specific skill, like reading for detail. The cards are good for a center activity, for one-on-one with a teacher or parent volunteer, or for kids to do in pairs.

Quick little reading comp. stories

Got this for my 3rd grader who doesn't like reading comp. questions. His teacher recomended this for him to practice at home. He has improved on it because their nice short cards with a story and then 4 questions on the back. It is also different parts of comp. questions. If your child doesn't like reading comp or isn't that good, I think this can really help.

Absolutely Perfect - Just don't heat at too high a temperature

I bought Fireworks Wisconsin white birch popcorn 64oz seeking the perfect popcorn for my Whirleypop popper, but I wrecked the batches simply by cooking them too hot. Now I've discovered on my own how to do it RIGHT. If you want perfect popcorn, here's my secret:- Add 2-3 ounces of oil in popper + 3 kernels;- On electric stove (yeah, I know) set burner between 8 and 9 on scale of 1 to 10. (If you set it for 10, you'll have small, lousy, and even unpopped results. Who knew!)- When the 3 kernels pop, add 1/3 cup of kernels (any more than this and they'll spill over)- Meanwhile, melt 1/4 to 1/3 of ONE cube of butter in microwave for 35 seconds.- When popped, (turn the whirley handle to prevent popped corn from overheating / or shake your pot (the one on the stove) if you lack this popper) and pour into your favorite bowl, (don't put butter into your popcorn cooker) drizzling butter and sprinkling a smidgen of salt. The very best you've ever had . . . true?Another Tip: I deliberately make extra, putting the rest into a FoodSaver airtight canister. It stays genuinely fresh throughout the week. P.S. I'm just a happy customer. I don't sell popcorn. (But now I eat too much of it.)

A well designed tool

I received my E-Z Lift Cabinet Jack on the job as I was installing cabients. The parts simply stack together, it took longer to remove it from the boxes than to assemble it. I already had the base cabinets in place so I set it up on the counter. The counter protection rails have a thick felt pad and also lock the wheels so it can't move. The inside corner upper was a little wobbly because half the weight hung off the platform, but once in place the micro adjustment screws on the bottom of the shelf allowed me to adjust the cabinet to level and shim where needed before screwing it to the wall. I moved the jack and set the next upper on it, raised it to the proper poistion, micro adjusted it, and screwed the face frames together and then screwed the new cabinet to the wall. The unit breaks down to four pieces for easy transport in less than a minute. It is a well made and engineered tool. It is especially suited to a cabinet installer working alone.

A Real Wife-Saver

Except for installing the granite countertops, my wife and I did all the work in completely remodeling the kitchen and casual eating area of our 1874 home. I spent two days searching for a cabinet lift to rent to no avail. While the cost seemed a little steep for what was expected to be a one-time use, it actually turned out to be a real wife-saver. A six-foot run of cabinets was easily assembled and positioned/adjusted without the grunting, groaning, and whining one might anticipate using the "Dear, could you give me a hand with lifting this?" method. We even made use of the padded feet installing a cabinet after the countertops had been installed. Lift capability was fully utilized for an over-the-refrigerator cabinet and over a stick-built closet. We also used it to install the microwave oven and a 40" HDTV. The word spread and we have since recovered nearly half the initial cost by renting it out to other DIY's.

e-z lift to the rescue

I bought an e-z lift last week, and installed a large range hood in 2 hours. it went up first time, allowed me and the designer to adjsut at will it's precise location.I lag bolted it in and it was like a rock, ! i then used it for the blower too, and what a dream !. The designer said.... Boy this was money well spent...He loved the fact that he had flexability ro adjst it's location to the 1/32 inch and loved the fact that there was no risk, no grunting, no excessive strip drilling and redrilling.and the product was never touched and dangered with any man-handling. the leveliers were terrific too! I like it because I can now train others workers to do installs without worrying about injuries tothem or the product... This product cut my install time in 1/2 and made me, my client, and his client feel great and secure.Awesome product... !!! Just buy it.. [...].

A real head turner

I got these because my wife doesn't like having no doors on at all. She feels to exposed. These tube doors give your Jeep a real tough look. I get more looks and comments with these on than I did with no doors at all.
