Good Watch; Great Value

I bought this watch because I was looking for something reasonably priced that would last a long time, look good, and perform well. Some of my expectations regarding performance are: keep relevant time, be easy to set, be water resistant as indicated, and allow me to be able to read the time in the dark. Well, two of those important functions have left something more to be desired. First, the calendar date works quite unusually. If you don't set it just right, it will change the date at noon rather than midnight. I tried several different strategies before I finally figured out how to get it to only change at midnight. Lastly, the luminous markers and hands are pretty weak. Rarely can I actually read this watch in the dark. Otherwise, I have been pleased with this watch in the one month that I've owned it. It looks great and more expensive than it is, and I'm sure I'll get use to its quirks as I wear it more. It seems really durable so I know I will have it for a long time.

Be forewarned about the bunk mattress

I bought this based after quite a bit of research into these loft beds.I was aware that top bunk mattress size can be a problem, the manufacturer website for this unit states it can accomodate "Twin Size Mattress - max 8.5 inch thick" (as of January 25, 2011).We received the 180+ lb unit intact in a single box. It was actually pretty well packaged for something this large. We opened the box in the garage and carried the invidual pieces to my son's room for assembly (max individual piece maybe 40lbs), two people required due to bulk of the pieces.I'm a pretty handy guy with all the correct tools (the provided allen key and wrench will work, but you'll need more time) and it took us about 2 hours to assemble (including some reassembly due to poor instructions):- Don't final tighten the frame until AFTER you have installed the guard rails (you'll have to loosen things up to get them in if you do).- when assembling the futon frame, make sure the center holes are "up" on both pieces.Build quality isn't great...average for the price I guess. Welds on the pieces left gaps in many areas and the paint seems poorly applied (and I question its long term wear)The real problem came when we put my son's 8.5" mattrss on the upper loft. Admittedly this is a plush 8.5", but even a "flat" one would have problems. There was less than 1" of the guard rail above the mattress. Referring to the warning sticker on the bed "3. Ensure thickness of mattress and foundation does not exceed 6 inches and mattress surface is at least 5 inches below upper edge of guard rails"I contacted the seller (CSN Stores in my case)...the seller was VERY COOPERATIVE.I explained the Coaster website statement that 8.5" mattress ok and safety sticker stating 6" max (as well as my limited guard rail clearance). I asked them if there was perhaps a retrofit guard rail (taller). CSN contacted the manuafacturer (Coaster), that made the statement "it's fine, don't worry about it", Coaster refused to provide any remedy.It's not like you're going to disassemble this thing and ship it back...I have to buy a new mattress or have a new guard rail fabricated. I chose to buy a new mattress, there's a couple 6" memory foam mattresses on amazon for under $200. CSN helped somewhat with the cost of this...these guys are very concientious and I would gladly buy from them again.Coaster is now obviously aware of the mismatch between the website and the safety sticker...we'll see if the website changes.If you go into this KNOWING you're limited to a 6" mattress, it's not a bad unit.I'll upload a couple picture so you can judge yourself some of the problems.----UPDATE JANUARY 2012-----Almost a year later, and Coaster website still has incorrect information about the acceptable mattress size---UPDATE DECEMBER 2012-----We've had this almost two years and it is holding up pretty well, so I upped this a star.Also a helpful update...the ladder is obviously small and made of metal (hard on the feet)...we found the "Kidkusion edge cushions" on Amazon make very nice pads for the ladder...see pictures.BTW...Coaster website STILL incorrectly says accepts 8.5" mattress size.

Well made frame

Bought this for a small teen bedroom to get the teens and xbox etc. out of my living room. Needed a frame with side ladders, since the room is tiny. We are very happy with this purchase. Assembly pretty straight forward. Came nicely boxed in one large flat box and all parts were in order. Do yourself a favor and get a foam/memory foam/latex type of mattress for top bunk. (6" or less as another reviewer pointed out) Much easier to make a flexible mattress than a firm coil type mattress on the top bunk.

Built to withstand a tidal wave!

If you decide to buy a big screen TV, this is the product for you. It may not be solid wood (which would cost you a fortune), but it is built heavy-duty to handle your components! It's super strong! You will have to put it together when it arrives in an extremely heavy box.Once it's together it's perfect! I looked at hundreds of TV stands for my 65" LCD and by far, this was the best on the market. Keep in mind that most TV stands DO NOT have a place for your center speaker and this is supremely important in a good surround sound system.This TV stand has room UNDER the glass top for my DVD player, my cable box AND my center speaker. Don't expect to put a receiver under the glass because most are too tall to fit. The receiver will fit perfectly inside the cabinet which has adjustable shelves.BUY IT NOW FOR ANY SIZE LCD OR PLASMA TV. IT HOLDS UP TO 200 LBS!!!!!!!!!!

Super Strong!

This TV credenza is very well made. I am definitely impressed with the quality and heft of this product. I am a small woman (110 lbs) and I managed to put this thing together myself. The parts were not labeled though and the directions had labels in it like part A, B etc. I had studied the instructions very carefully by looking at the pictures and after 3 hours of work on this thing thought I was finished until I went to put in the middle drawers and it was crooked. Apparantly I did not get one of the middle verticle boards facing the right way so the holes were misaligned. It then took me another 2 hours to very carefully take it apart just to turn the board around. Since I had already put it together once the second time around it was much faster.Despite that it has held up well, is very sturdy, and looks very nice in our family room! We do have little toddlers so we bought some transparant rubber corner protectors since the corners are pointy. So if you have little kid I would do the same for their protection.

Multi-Phone Line surge Protector

Excellent case but with minor flaws.

This is a truly beautiful case. You will not be disappointed with it's appearance or feel. And it physically functions as a stand quite well. There are three minor flaws, however. If you double the cover back behind the device it sometimes shuts the device down or makes it behave erratically--it's okay if you don't double it all the way back. Second, there is no clasp or magnet to hold the cover closed--I fixed this with a little bit of velcro. Finally, if you use it as a stand, the volume controls are inaccessible unless you pick the device up, an annoyance that can't be worked around. Nevertheless, the workmanship and quality of the leather and the fit on the device make it the best case available to my thinking.

Nice Table

I had my fears this would be a shabby plywood assembly with cheap game tables, but they were unfounded. The quality is impressive. Everything is heavy and feels solid. The game tables are great and the wheel isn't as crappy as I feared. I'm very happy with this table. I took a star off because the wood is a darker color than oak. It might just be stained darker than the picture. It's not that big a deal. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Wonderful bed HORRIBLE shipping

This bed was perfect for my 5 year old son. Its a tad bit shorter the I had assumed how ever it seem to be the perfect hight for him. The lay out is wonderful , it gives him plenty of room to store toys in the section right under the bed frame and still enough room in the tent area to play. Just to give you an idea my husband, son , 8 month old daughter and i had plenty of room (with out the toys in the back section being added). The slide is incredible strong and i love the railings that keep your child on the side as her/she goes down. I also was happy about the fact that you can place the latter on the left or right end of the bed and the slide and ten on the front.HOWEVER..... When the product was delivered at my house the box was in HORRIBLE(!!!!) condition!! The box it self was BARLEY hanging together by tape and there were scratches on the bed post as well as the top of the slide was bent and the back security rail was warped do to being bent. I was VERY disappointed in the shipping care, had i not been on a time crunch (and my husband being able to some what bend the pieces "back") i would have sent it back and DEMANDED a new bunk bed! My best advice is order way a head of when you need to product so you can have the option of returning if the same thing happens to you.

Love this bed but it's for young kids

This bed says that kids outgrow it around 8yrs old. I would agree with this.(10yrs would be the age they would no longer want the slide) We got ours when my son was about 2 1/2yrs old. We made a plywood platform covered with green carpet and put on the top and put a bunkie style matress in the tent. My son played on the platform top deck and slept inside the tent. I'm not a tall person and I could stand in front of the bed and reach my young son easily. I could also crawl inside the tent and put my son to bed with lots of room. We also had a toy box inside the tent. We would move the mattress from the top to the bottom depending on where he wanted it.The tent just ties on to the bed and can be removed it the child no longer wants the tent. I think we got a lot of good use out of the bed and was able to pass it to someone else. We used the bed for 6 years and it lasted well. It was not only a bed but also a playset for us.
