Excellent Knife

I purchased this knife not from Amazon but directly from the company. It's sharp and it stays that way. I keep a honing steel handy but I seldom use it with this knife. The slightly narrower blade allows you work the knife easily into tight working areas allowing you to surgically dissect a chicken in almost no time. It is also very well balanced. I haven't had the need to file down the copper end yet but I believe that some people will find it quite useful. About my only con with this knife is that the copper is quite hard to keep shining brightly.

The speakers (purchased 2) look good, sound reelly great, and installed without real trouble. The throat depth was larger than expected but it worked out. Their painted real well on the cover plate and the connections are secure. Great sound great pick.

Impressed

This was my first "project" with mobile audio so take my comparison/review with a grain of salt as I don't really have anything else to base it against.. but wow. I bought this along with an enclosure and a pyle 1000 watt marine amplifier - to be installed in a boat. Took me awhile to get this wired up and tested out (because again - this was my first "go-round" with this type of audio) but once I did it was excellent. I'm sure the sound has a lot to do with the box (which was only 30 bucks or so) and the amp. But once I got it installed and sealed in the box properly the sound is incredible. I would classify myself as an above average audiophile, but this blows the bass from my 7.2 home theater system out of the water (lol).. And for a fraction of the price.. Once I got the High pass filter and low pass filter, level, and bass boost adjusted.. It's got a GREAT sound.. plugged it into my phone just for a test and I have to keep the volume very low or stuff in my house just starts randomly shattering. sucky side effect.. but oh well. Gonna buy another to make use of the extra wattage on the amp.. seems like a waste at this point!

Great Trimmer

I have been using Wahl trimmers for over 10 years. Usually I try not to spend more than $30.00. However I trim my husband and 3 kids about every 4 weeks or so. Unfortunately I have had to buy a new trimmer about every 2 years. Some either miss hair or get very loud.I shopped these Wahl trimmers this time online and Amazon is the least expensive. This would cost over $100 at the stores and I usually don't spend more than $30 at the stores, so I decided to spend a little extra money this time.The first thing I noticed when I turned it on was that it was so much quieter than all the others I have purchased. I also noticed that it was trimming the hair without leaving longer ones behind. I usually repeat the area a few extra times. I only repeated it once to make sure there weren't any longer hairs left behind. Also after 4 haircuts back to back the unit was still cool to the touch. I have bought others that after one cut it's warm and by the 4th my hand is burning. I'm very pleased so far with the unit. I hope this one lasts longer. It's already paid for itself after one sitting. It costs $60 a month for all 4 of them.Hopefully I can come back a year from now and tell you that it's still working great.

this is a beautiful peice. the chain is not too chunky. The only reason i did not give 5 was that i thought the pendant looked a smidge thin. Not enough to detract from the overall look, but if it would have been a hair thicker it would have been better

Good, but not for paths

I got these lights to use for relatively narrow paths between gardens in our back yard. They are unobtrusive in daylight and very attractive at night--if looked at from a distance. Problem is, they are blinding when looked down on from above. This feature--no caps or covers--makes them unsuitable, even hazardous, when trying to use them to guide one's way in the dark. I returned them and got the bollard type, which are equally unobtrusive but have caps on top.

These lights work great! Only small issue is that you need pliers to change bulbs since they are recessed into the light casing. Other than that, excellent for the price!

Landscape lighting

Needed a low voltage, low profile light to accent landscaping around our pool. The Malibu "mushroom" was tucked in between various shrubs and created a nice, warm glow. Due to their open lens top, not meant to light pathways due to the glare they would create. These did the job I had intended.

So.. many.. pockets....

You will seriously have a hard time finding what to do with all the pockets. There are 3 in the front and two of which seem to only be effective for holding batons or rolled up paper as you won't be able to put a hand to the bottom of them. The zippers on top seem to be plastic yet rather sturdy, so you may have some trouble with them refusing to perform though I haven't had one break and I treat them poorly. The shoulder strap is quite reliable and doesn't give up when I carry ammo for 4 different calibers and the firearms to match. There are Velcro straps for holding targets which I love because its the little things that add up at the range eventually causing a hemorrhage of money at the end of the day. All around its rather robust means of transporting your XD or any pistol.

Great range bag for the price. Ton of compartments for ammo, ear and eye protection. It will hold both my 40 cal and 9mm in there xdm factory cases. The bag hasn't let me down yet..

the battery

this was the cheapest brandnew battery I could find. I liked that and the fact it came so quickly. The othere good thing is that after charging it it said that I had about five hours if battery life left. That's good for 45 bucks. Thank You.

I bought the battery because one of my others doesn't hold much charge. This battery doesn't last as long as the original equipment did when new, but it is much better than the one it replaced.
