I'll tell you why it cost so much

now many people have been saying that this gun (and the systema M4)cost to much or asking why it cost so much but, the truth is that the reason it cost so much is its the best-it has 100% the exact same weight as the real M16-it reloads exact same as the real M16-it makes the durability of other airsoft guns look like thier made of aluminum foil-not only is all of the outsde of it metal all of the internals are to even inside the gearbox-almost never jams. mine has only once in 6 years (and I airsoft alot-on top of all that its the same airsoft gun the military uses for training (ie Training Weapon)so you know its goodI gave it five stars because the quality is so darn good

Expensive Gun For A Reason

Please do not write reviews saying this is too expensive, and why is it this much money! Anyone who writes a review like that does not know what you are getting here. This rifle was originally a military training weapon. The rifle is heavy, and full metal. In order to use the gun, you need to pull back on the charging handle and do everything you would have to do on a real M16! The FPS isn't great, but you can upgrade it, FPS isn't everything! Also, the person who said this is a bad deal because they are getting an ICS MP5 with the same motor, big deal, motor doesn't mean anything, I gurantee the ICS MP5 doesn't have a functional charging handle!

There is a good reason why it costs so much!

Built with quality parts systema rarely fails. Feeling like a real gun the systema also performs like a real gun. Unlike normal AEGs the systema will not shoot until the bolt is released (simulating a real gun). The gun itself is very different, all the parts are different than what you would normally see. Most of the AEGs in the market are based after the TM (Tokyo Marui)and come with very similar motors, gears and magazines making the parts universal. However the Systema has very unique parts and are not based on the Tokyo Marui. The gears, motors, magazine is differently constructed. The battery is also different but there is major noticeable change in performance. The gun has excellent range and has a very powerful shot. The gun is widely used in law enforcement and military training and for a very good reason (realistic, durable and performs to their criteria).I recommend this gun for anyone that is looking for a gun to use for a very long time (5-10 years) for airsoft event.I do not recommend this to people that are doubtful about their commitment to airsoft, instead i would recommend a KWA or Tokyo Marui.
