5The A350 Is A Breath Of Fresh Air
By Wilee D
I purchased the Alen A350 after a lot of research. Our bedroom is quite large but we keep the unit fairly close to the bed. We noticed the improvement immediately (we've had for approx 4 months now). The next to highest speed is what we prefer and it is not super quiet but, hey it's a fan - what do you expect? When we want, we drop the fan speed down a notch and it is quiet. Very simple to operate right out of the box, and is effective. I recommend.

5Works well
By Gregory John
The room with this product in it gets cleaned periodically, and we noticed a significant reduction in the amount of dust on the furniture, so I would say this filter is working well. Online sites rate this Air Purifier as removing over 95% of air borne particles in a controlled situation, making it comparable to $600+ models, and far superior to the products you see on those info-mercials.I would say this product is great, but you should do your own research.

3Power supply hums & watch out for refurbished units
By Bruce
Pros: Nice looking, easy to operate, filter replacements are not too costly ($39), compared to some other companies.Cons: There is a low-pitch humming noise from the unit at the low fan speed that is a little annoying. For $399, be sure you receive a brand new unit from Alen, not a refurbished one like I did.

5Big, Heavy, Strong - Tim Allen would love it.
By Wayne O. Wenzlaff
I have owned the Dewalt 1/2" Impact Wrench for several years. When I recently decided to do my own service on my 1.1/4 ton truck, I found out that the Dewalt just didn't have what it takes to loosen tire lug nuts. Enter the Milwaukee...There is almost no way to describe this thing to you. First, it's BIG. It's not going to be the only Impact Wrench you own, because there are a lot of places it plain won't fit.Second, it's HEAVY. Trying to hold this thing over your head to remove bolts requires some serious muscle. Not for the weak or faint of heart. Finally, it's strong. Those lug nuts I was mentioning? Eight per wheel, and 32 total? This thing zipped the nuts off so fast I thought I had slipped off the first one! Took all 32 off, then a few hours later put all 32 back ON with one charge of the battery!!And speaking of the battery - some genius at Milwaukee deserves a gold star. Remember when I said it won't fit certain places because of its size? Well, Milwaukee designed it so the battery can slide on from the front of the tool, or slide on from the back, and it works either way. Putting it on from the front makes the wrench shorter overall - if a little front heavy - while putting it on from the back gives you more room to get your wrench into tight spots by moving the battery pack out of the way.BE WARNED that you should make certain you have a good set of impact sockets to go with this wrench. DO NOT attempt to use it with a standard socket, as you are likely to end up with shrapnel flying everywhere when the regular socket fails. Ask me how I know?!!Bottom line - the tool is a little big for 'average' wrenching, but when you need to go after the big boys there is nothing like it!Go buy one. You NEED it.

5POWERFUL IMPACT
By Jerry H. Bond
I was skeptical about buying this tool. A lot of money would be wasted if it didn't perform as advertised. I placed my trust in Milwaukee's reputation. When a negative reviewer has only one review to his credit - and that review is negative - that tells me that the reviewer is 100% negative and I disqualify his input from my decision making. When my 100psi impact wrench began failing to break free 15/16ths-inch cutting-blade nuts on a 1500-pound commercial mower, I knew more power was needed. Laying on my back under a raised cutting deck and pushing a 15-inch box-end wrench with a pipe extension with both feet and while pulling another such setup with both hands above the deck left me with an aching back for a month, but the 12-inch blade bolt and nut did come loose. Never again. After 8 months of use and a dozen blade changes, my worries have vanished. It takes about 15 seconds to break the nuts loose. The first time I used it - and the nut didn't break free in 3 seconds - my heart sank. Then it lifted. I was surprised that there is no reverse torque. I was expecting this wrench to kick like a mule after reading the break-dancing comment. One hand is all that is needed. I've removed lugs from trucks and cars and tractors. No problems. Another impressive fact is that I can remove 20 lugs on a vehicle and still have all four red power indicator lights burning on the battery. Granted, there are impact wrenches made for 18-wheelers and tanks that are rated in the thousands of foot-pounds of torque, but this 28V Milwaukee slid under the wire for me. It is about all the power I need. Every year I hear about a compressor exploding and causing injury or death. Perhaps condensation had accumulated inside the tank for years and rusted the walls. Compressor tanks do need to be drained. And fighting hoses can be like wrestling an anaconda. So far, my 28V impact wrench has not exploded, tripped or choked me. And it hasn't bitten me either because it does the job - and for me - that makes it worth the price.

5One of the best tools on the farm
By JDM
I've had this tool for about 18 months ago. It has performed above expectations. On one battery it will remove 8 1/2 wheel lug bolts 4 5/8 gear box bolts and replace all on a center pivot sprinkler tower . Some of the towers we have worked on have been running in water for over 15 years without a bolt being turned(it would be the equivalent of changing four tires on a 3/4 ton pickup). It is a substantial tool but the weight packing it to the job is more than made up by the effort it saves at the job site. For quick jobs it is easier than dragging hoses and a air impact gun. It won't replace a good 1/2 drive air impact gun but it is a great addition to any tool box

5Possibly the end of the corded sawzall era...
By Steve
I own two Milwaukee corded sawzalls and their main use is for heavy demolition. We have five sawzalls (all Milwaukee) within our crew all together and they're all handled pretty roughly, yet they last though whatever you throw at them. I was pretty uneasy about the idea of a cordless sawzall back when the 18v was the most powerful cordless available... I doubted it could ever keep up with a corded sawzall. When Milwaukee came out with their V28 line, I purchased the hammer drill and was outright shocked at how much more powerful it was then the 18v I had. After a month of use, I decided the pick up the V28 sawzall too. The very first day, I knew I had a winner. Although when cutting out old, extra-thick studs, you can feel a difference in power between the corded and cordless, the V28 sawzall definitely held its own and didn't lock up once. Just before lunch, I was cutting through a pipe and the sawzall seemed to suddenly die. At first, I thought I broke the thing, but quickly realized that the battery charge ran out. When they say that the power lasts until the very last minute, they REALLY mean it.Another thing I love about the V28 line is the battery charge meter. I find it very useful to be able to take a quick look and find which of my batteries could use a charge, rather then finding out when you need them. It's a feature I'm finding more and more useful. The only disappointment is the case that comes with the kit... it'll hold a third battery if you were to purchase one, but it doesn't have enough room between everything to hold extra blades. The compartment they have in the case is about half the size of the one in the corded sawzall case I have, so I can carry less blades. I wish they would go back to the metal cases, but since that's unlikely, all I can hope for is that they'll work more room into the cases for extra accessories. The sawzall is one of my most used tools, particularly when first starting a job when demolition is most needed. Being free from the cord outshines the power difference that the corded models have over the V28 sawzall. Although I won't be getting rid of my corded sawzalls yet, the V28 certainly is, and will continue to be, my top choice. I think Milwaukee finally got them to the point where their shortcomings will be completely overlooked and a cordless sawzall will be as common as the cordless drill.UPDATE: I've been using this on the job for well over a year now and it has seated itself as one of the most important tools on site. Unless a second sawzall is needed, the corded sawzalls aren't even unloaded from the trucks anymore. It has more then enough power to tackle ANY job we've needed it for... only slightly outpowered by the 11-amp models, but clearly more powerful then the 6-amp models. The fact that we can move around without being tethered down by a cord has made this everyone's favorite. It's absorbed drops from as high as 10 feet onto plywood flooring without skipping a beat, and there's been no noticeable decline in performance from the batteries (comparing them to a battery I just recently bought). I still don't like the case though.I highly recommend this tool to anyone needing a sawzall for professional use.

5Most powerful cordless, and longest lasting battery
By Victor H. Agresti
Milwaukee 0719-22 V28 Sawzall Lithium-Ion Cordless Reciprocating Saw KitMy advice is to consider buying this Sawzall as part of the Milwaukee 0928-29 V28 Cordless 4-Tool Combo Kit. For $200 more, you'll get the V28 Hammer Drill/Driver, the V28 circular saw, and the V28 flashlight. All are excellent and designed for day-in day-out contractor use.Cons:- Milwaukee should incorporate a rotating handle that locks in the normal position, 90 degrees left, or 90 degrees right (similar to the handle on the SuperHawg drill); or, better yet, have a variable angle head like the Porter Cable Tiger Claw.Pros:- 28 volt Lithium-Ion batteries; the highest voltage available, and longest lasting, batteries; 3rd generation technology. The only reason to buy a 1st generation NiCad tool is, you can't afford NiMH or Lithium-Ion. Either one is far superior to NiCad.- V28 power. This is my 3rd reciprocating saw, and the one I use most of the time. It's not as powerful as my 11.5 amp Porter Cable saw, but it handles most house renovation tasks. Not having a cord is, of course, the huge plus of this tool.- Press a button on a V28 battery and 1 to 4 LEDs will shine, indicating remaining power. You'll know if it needs a charge BEFORE climbing the ladder, etc.- Excellent ergonomics; comfortable handle and rubberized front grip, good switch function. Battery is NOT reversible, in spite of the Amazon sales pitch, but it really doesn't need to be.- Quick and easy tool-less blade change. Takes about 1 second to remove or insert a blade. It's so easy, I remove the blade when transporting the saw or putting it in a tool case.- Speed switch has all the choices needed: LOW, Lock, HIGH. Lock disables the ON switch. I use lock when removing the battery, changing the blade, or just carrying the saw with a blade installed.- This is a terrific saw for tree or heavy brush pruning. With the 9" Milwaukee pruning blade (or a 12" wood blade), you can cut down decent-sized trees. Corded saws can be dangerous on such jobs, as the cords get in the way, get tangled in brush, or can trip you up; besides, the further a job is from a 110v receptacle, the more impractical a cord becomes.- Tool is guaranteed for 5 years, parts and labor. (Register online at Milwaukee dot com.) Batteries are guaranteed for 2 years at full replacement, and prorated for 3 more years.Summary:I have to agree with Fine Woodworking's 2008 Tool Guide, which calls Milwaukee's cordless line-up, "the best tools for serious work".

I own 4 cordless recip saws and hands down by far this is the most powerful. Not only does the battery last a long time but the dual speed makes it work in all applications. Hands down this is the best!

Looks great in the pictures, but when it arrived it looked a little cheap. I bought this for my mom, and I just didn't feel that is was worth it. I could have put a better one together. Most of the basket is shredded paper. The cookies were delicious though and the book is cute. The rest is just not what I expected really.

5fantastic
By Amalia Castilla
I received these shoes in the light tan as a birthday gift a year ago. They are incredibly comfortable and I wear them almost every day, even in the snow. The exterior material is holding up well but since I wear them so much the interior has worn down and it might be time to get new ones. They also go with everything. I wear 8-8.5 and I have an 8 in these and they're perfect.

1Didn't last one winter
By cecile
I received thee cozy and sturdy slippers as a gift late in the fall of 2008. They looked and felt great, but before the winter was over the heel part of the interior sole became completely worn out in both slippers. For the record, I am 5'7", weigh under 120 lbs, and do not have an unusual gait. I was surprised that an Uggs product would wear out so fast. My last pair of shearling-lined slippers lasted over 15 years (wish I could remember the brand).I wear an 8.5 shoe, the size 9 slipper fit perfectly.

5Wonderful Weirdness
By Ron M
OK, ...Audix's track record of "tailoring" mics for a given purpose is rapidly becoming the stuff of legend, what with (among others) the likes of their amazing D6 for kick-drum and breathtaking SCX25A-PS piano miking system. So you'd EXPECT both versions of their Fireball to fit perfectly into harmonica-holding hands and transparently deliver all the nuances the instrument can offer to your console, without a trace of overload, feedback or other undesirable artefacts.Done. Undeniably, comprehensively, ruggedly and economically done. Now think about it for a moment...The continued existence (and use) of not only Hohner's ancient-technology piezo crystal mics, (1490 Blues Blaster & JT30 Roadhouse) but also Shure's (not quite as old) Green Bullet 520DX (all of them high impedance, hence really intended for guitar amp inputs rather than mixing desks) is evidence of just how WEIRD this unique application is.An instrument with wide dynamic range pressed hard against the grille...Not only that, but having a range of harmonics (the clue's in the name) that don't just encompass the full spectrum of human hearing, but with higher harmonics extending to the full range of CANINE hearing, attenuating ANY of which will deteriorate the timbre of the instrument...Not only that, but blasts of breath that need to be excluded from the sound...Not only that, but the very technique required to hold both mic and instrument really should defeat any "back-rejection" port system intended to control feedback...Not only that, ...but I'm fed up with writing "not only that", so let's just agree that this rugged ruby from Audix seems to implement the impossible. Now for the UN-expected.I've found that the way this little gem deals with all of the above makes it ideal whenever I've needed to isolate ANY single source of broad spectrum and wide dynamic range sound for clean delivery to a standard mic input.(Think tiny but punchy "practice" amps, up close to the slots of a Leslie system without "blast" problems from its whirling cones, just off the rims of folkloric and latin percussion instruments, or hard against the sounding surfaces of pedal steels or dobros, etc. etc.)Along with its tiny size, Audix's inclusion of their uniquely rugged clamp adapter make locating it an easy squeeze into tight spots, so you can get it "up close and personal" to an extent not possible with larger (usually much dearer and more fragile) alternatives.I wish I'd had it in my kit over forty years ago, right at the outset of my ongoing career in location audio. Now THAT would have been wonderfully weird.

5Great Harmonica, Wind Instrument and Close Up Vocal Mic
By JR
This is a great overall stage/recording microphone for harmonica, wind instruments and close up vocals.PROS:1. Very low feedback. Hands cupped over the mic won't induce feedback like other mics which makes this a good harmonica mic. Great for all very close up mic-ing tasks.2. Very low distortion. It is very hard to induce distortion when playing up close. This makes it a very good saxaphone mic that can be positioned right at the bell. This is a CLEAN mic.3. Great frequency response. Instruments sound natural. Voice sounds natural. A harmonica player that sings can probably use this mic for both.4. No voice pop. Built in windscreen prevents voice pops even when your mouth is touching the mic.5. Good small size. Easy to use with a harmonica.CONS:1. Doesn't distort for that bullet sound. If you want that Shure Green Bullet distortion and sound in your playing, you need to get the Bullet. Using a preamp with an overdrive feature can get you in the ball park but this isn't a Bullet replacement.2. Not good for recording lectures or a group from a distance. Mic is designed to be 0 to 2 inches away from sound source. This is ackward for singers unless your style is to have your mic against your lips, then this might be the perfect mic for you.OVERALL:A great, clean mic for harmonica players. This is also a great utility mic for a band with mic-ed instruments.Buying from AAAudio is a fantastic buy [...]. At the time I ordered it, the price included both the XLR cable and the low to hi impedance transformer plug. [...]. At this price, any band using instrument mics should have one or two of these hanging around.

5Gets the Job Done
By S.B.
I've been pretty impressed with this tool. I've driven about 200 nails into 70 year old concrete and have only had a few nails that didn't seat flush with the 2x4 I was attaching. However, with a little pounding with a hammer, the proud nails will seat. I would recommend trying out the different strength loads to see which one works best for your concrete. My concrete required the strongest load. Now that I have the Cobra, being able to fire nails into concrete is so much easier compared to my old method of drilling holes and using tapcons or similar products.

The powder loads only advanced about 20% of the time, the re-cock action was not as easy as it should be even with added lubricant.I had no choice but to continue use of the gun but remain unhappy with this particular gun's performance. It seems to be a factory defect.Thank you
