5Quality Item
By A. Redding
I highly recommend this item. I did search all over the internet for a wall mount that would work on my plasma. It was very difficult to find any reviews on this item or even if this mount fit. I finally was able to get confirmation that it does work on my plasma. My plasma wasn't listed as one of the 200+ models this mount can be used on. However, according to the Peerless website I could use it, however there was an optional adaptor that I could use. I found out that on my plasma model I did need the adaptor, it wasn't really optional. The wall mount was about 3 inches shy of fitting my tv. If your TV is listed as working with this mount, I know it will fit. Mine wasn't listed as working, because the adaptor was needed. I really liked this wall mount. It was very solid, 1/2 the price, and I just knew it was made well. Since I am impatient and didn't want to wait to have the adaptor sent to me, and I didn't want to pay an additional $70 + shipping (it still would have been cheaper to go this route), I chose to jerry rig my TV to work on this. I'm fairly handy, but think most could do what I did to make this item work without the adaptor. To make this work, I went to Home Depot and bought 2 heavy duty shelf brackets/channels (they are "U" shaped). I then cut them into 34" lengths, drilled a hole in one side (the other side already had a hole drilled, but I did have to make it alittle bigger). The hole was drilled so that I could mount the channel to the top 2 holes, the channel laid horizontal. Then the lower one I did the same thing. I used the screws and a spacer that came with the mount to attach the channel to my TV. I did have to add a few washers to underneath the channel because the spacers were just a hair shorter than the depth of the channel. Once I got both channels up, I was able to screw the hooks that came with the mount to the upper and lower channels. The project costed me $12. TV is on solid, looks great, and professionally done, and I have $60+ left to buy DVD's. If your plasma model is listed as working, don't worry about having to do what I did to get this mount to work.

5Great tv mount
By Walter C. Zeier
We got the mount and easily attached it to the tv. The unit came with mounting screws for the wall and to attach the mount to the tv. It was easy to adjust slide to side and front to back.I would buy this again if I had another use for one.

strong unit. good price. easy to mount. always buy "more" strength than you need. and be sure to mount securely into studs, not sufficient to use mollys, etc.
