Perfect

I love this pot! I received it as a gift from my father who uses his for soups and stews several times a week. I have used mine for meat & veg dishes started on the stove top for browning, and then finished low and slow in the oven. The meat turns out incredibly moist, and the entire dish cooks up perfectly with very little effort. It is also one of the easiest pieces I own to clean.The one important piece of advice I would give, don't skip the seasoning step. This seals the clay so that it doesn't absorb flavors and odors. Perfect. I truly can not find one fault in this piece of cookware.

We've been cooking like crazy with this great pot - both on the gas stove and in the oven - and everything has turned out brilliantly: coq au vin, Hungarian gulyas, chicken paprikas etc. I will be ordering more items from this producer soon, for sure!

This pot is exactly what I needed. As recommended in the book, MY BREAD by Jim Lahey, it is the perfect pot for baking his recipes. It is light weight compared to other pots in it's class and although a bit pricey, well worth the money. It cleans up beautifully and is pretty enough to leave out in the kitchen.
