Pretty darn good figure, but not quite as nice as the others

Despite the 4 stars (the reason for which I'll get to in a moment), this is a VERY nice figure and if you liked the version of Tifa in Final Fantasy: Advent Children, you'll definitely want to pick it up.The sculpt is smooth, the face very pretty, befitting the character. It's very poseable, though not quite as much as the box picture shows (on mine, at least, the legs can't kick that high). The knees do feel a little inflexible, so I'm a bit worried they might not be all that durable.The box is the typical window-box, so you can show off the figure, but it's much better to take it out and pose it - that's what this kind is for!The main problem is that the figure doesn't come with any weapons (yes, I realize she didn't use any in the movie, but it'd be nice if she had SOMEthing...the other figures do), and only two sets of hands - a fist pair and open hand pair. The open hands are nice, but they can't HOLD anything! It would have been better had she come with a third pair, making a "holding" kind of formation, to hold swords or guns or whatnot.Also, the little pink plastic ribbon on her arm could be pulled off with rough play, so I wouldn't suggest this for younger kids.So, yes. In sum: A fine sculpt, a very nice figure, though without some of the nice additions of the other figures in the series.

Pros: Very well articulated.Cons: The figure I got had a strange cut in the hair on the right side which made a chunk of Tifa's hair slant off to the right behind her right arm. It doesn't look normal compared to the pictures of the figure online or on the box. I think this may just be a 1 out of many cases though. Also the paint on her lips seemed kinda sloppy. Compared to the other figures this one lacks in Quality control. I believe this to be a specific case though.Other: Tifa should of came with 3 or 4 pairs of hands instead of the just two. AC Sephiroth comes with 3 pairs and his long sword so I don't see why Tifa only comes with 2 pairs of hands when she doesn't have a weapon. She should of came with a pair of gloved open hands just like Sephiroth. Harder to find online due to her popularity. Also seems higher priced then other figures even though she has no weapon.

This is a beautiful figure! I love her FFAC costume, and the detailing here is just great!Like most FF figures, Tifa comes with an optional set of hands to give you variety in posing. One set for her is gloved and closed fist, one is bare open hand. Both go naturally with her fighting style.A favorite female in the world of FF, I'd recommend this item as a wonderful addition to your collection, as it was to mine!The one slight negative is that I don't find her flexible enough to achieve the poses that are seen on the box. Maybe I'm just too reluctant to stretch her out so far, in fear of breaking her joints, but she's pretty stiff and I'm not confident she'd survive it.Still, even with the lesser options in posing, she looks great displayed and is absolutely worth the investment!
