Fits My Needs

Nice amp, has everything I need: 1RU space, 200 clean watts RMS @8 ohms. I have this housed in a homemade 4 space rack, with a Behringer CX2310 crossover and a QSC GX5 amp for subs. I use this "lightly" at home for music (Behringer B2030P monitors inside, custom Dayton 10" two-ways outside, 120 Hz high passed) so I can't vouch for durability on the road. It is built like a tank, though. I have owned other ART products and they have all been high quality. There isn't much out there for 1RU amps, and this one fits the bill very nicely.Pros:1RU SpaceRecessed Gain Knobs (nice touch)Plenty of power for most users (this thing would really smoke in a guitar or bass rig)BridgeableMultiple input connectorsCons:Loud cooling fan (only audible in a quiet home setting, may not be suitable for studio use)Transformer hum is audible, using near field (if you place your ear against speaker)Overall I love this amp, and there really isn't much out there for reasonably priced / quality 1RU space amps with this much power. Like another reviewer, I also have the SLA1. They both are impressive and a great addition to the Home Theater.With the system muted after an hour of use, the only noise I hear are the fans from 1 foot away. There is no additionalhiss, pops, hum or other noise.Sweet unit. If you're reading the review, you are likely considering this for your system. You will NOT be disappointed.

Pretty much this is something used to drive a pre amp through a cabinet and it does it well. The two channels weren't really a necessity for me considering I have only one cab but I got it just for the future if I decide to get another cab(which is probably unlikely). It does it's job well and doesn't give me any problems.
