The full-grain leather upper and Goodyear welt construction make these some heavy-duty, long-lasting boots. Complimenting the water-resistant leather exterior is the GORE-TEX waterproof membrane lining, which is the best in keeping your feet perfectly dry. This ultra-thin membrane is made up of billions of tiny pores that are too small for even water to slip through. However, water vapor from inside your shoe (which you can certainly make a lot of on a long, hot day) is easily sucked though the membrane and away from your feet. With a one year waterproof manufacturer's guarantee, you can be sure that water will not be dragging these boots down. The polyurethane outsole is amazingly lightweight, provides incredible shock absorption, is non-marking and is resistant to both oil and spills. A removable full-cushion dual-density polymer footbed is there to keep you comfortable and to prevent unnecessary fatigue. Inside are a rubber midsole and a nylon shank, which is there to provide the necessary arch support. All these features will keep you on the job, but the worst way to be "inconvenienced" in the workplace is with an injury. Luckily, these boots have ASTM F2413-05 M I/75 C/75 rated steel toes, just in case things get a little rough out there. Also, these boots provide protection from electrical hazards, as the polyurethane outsole is an excellent isolator. High Quality - Lacer - Riding Boot

I purchased 2 pairs of these boots through Amazon. For their outstanding quality and features that you hardly find anywhere in this price class, you get an excellent deal. Now, I don't know how these boots perform as work boots in general or what extreme abuse they can sustain. I purchased them for working with horses and for riding. Instead of buying ordinary cowboy boots that hardly provide any sort of ankle support, a lacer like this boots is the answer.Here are some of the key features that make this boot an excellent choice in comparison with very expensive other brands:- Full grain & water resistant leather- Double & tripple stitching- Waterproof GoreTex lining- Protective toe and shank- Shock absorbing heel & sole- Good Welt Construction preventing dirt from entering between sole and leather- Good grip but shallow tread sole ideal for equestrian environment- Medium pointed-to-round toe fits easily into any stirrupI am not sure where Wolverine brand boots and shoes are made, but their quality is outstanding. I have not found any other lace-up boot with these awesome features at this low price. Also worth mentioning is the distributor Papashoe in New York. They have done anything possible to my satisfaction with excellent communications and ways of shipping these boots to me in a very short time and without custom duties!
