Best shoe value on earth

I bought these 13 years ago, the same model. They still look good after all these years and miles. They wear like iron. I have tried the $50 dress shoes made in China and find they last about 6 months before the wear begins to take over the sole and heel, and they can't be repaired. These shoes can be repaired till Kingdom Come. By far the best money I have ever spent on shoes.

UPDATE:12/23/12Still very happy with these shoes and the fact i went back to leather. stylish without overkill, and have received many compliments. Like much of my other stuff i have abused my shoes -i dont wear goloshes to protect- they are they ONLY dress shoes I wear as everything for me is black, grey, blue. So over a year of continuous everyday use. Very happy, and will be hard to go for a different pair when its time to replace.--ORIG: I finally decided to step up to laced more dressy dress shoes. have been very happy with Johnston Murphy's for several years, and this is no exception. Great looking shoe, and will last longer than the other models i have chosen. After first day of wearing, for such a great looking form holding shoe they were comfortable..by the end of the day any stiffness had broken in and very happy.. actually got two compliments on them today and that has NEVER happened to me!

Had to go to a special wedding anniversary, and sought out a reasonably priced, good looking pair of wingtips. The shoe is well made and filled the bill.
