I also have the 53" octabox and this strip light is wide enough and long enough to use as a fill, but also rotate and use as a background light. The quality is great, it's really fast to put together, and it did come with a bag to hold the whole box, rods and the speedring. Having said that, I just put it all together in the same bag as the Octabox to save lugging two bags around. Really glad I got these and not cheaper models as I suspect the build quality but also the way it's built to put out light is much better than cheaper products. It also feels like if I look after these, I'll never need to upgrade/change.

This softbox is easy to set up and use. It seems durable and provides great, even, soft light. I would highly recommend this softbox.

The best on the market. All you have to do is assemble the box the first time only, and after that you can fold it like an umbrella. Setup is fairly easy and require about 10-15 minutes. It comes with a nice bag, interior and exterior baffle. I bought a fotodiox before this one....there's a reason why you pay 1/4 the price...this Elinchrom softbox is simply lighter, stronger and easier to setup. Money well spent, fotodiox (yuck) no more.
