Great planer

This is a quality built machine. The table is smooth and flat. I planed maple, which is extremely dense. If you take small increments off there is no snipe. I like the dual feed rates (10 or 20 bfm). The dust collector is very effective for a 4" vacuum. I got a great price on this new. All of the set up tools are included with the machine and stored in a molded foam panel on the top.Update 2-17-2013. To eliminate all snipe, I used Kwik-Grip clamps on the out-feed side (clamping the table to the top part of the frame. It is quick and easy to apply the clamps and there is no wasted wood due to snipe.
