5Park & Sun right on the $
By A |<
I purchased this set after doing a little research online and after the first use I realized what an amazing choice I had made. I grew up playing volleyball and always admired my cousins' old aluminum net, it was so sturdy. This net is awesome. Quality materials all around and it's easy to carry and setup pretty much anywhere. I was happy paying the price, ($70 less than Dick's Sporting Goods, $129 less than MSRP) plus I am also a Prime Member so 2-day shipping was free and amazing! It's the real deal.FYI -Go to the Park & Sun website, they have setup videos and instruction manuals along with some tips.

5Durable, professional quality set
By Breanne Barber
After a couple attempts at making a cheap volleyball set from Big 5 made of PVC pipe work (both sets were about $70 and shattered when the ball hit the net), we decided it was time to invest in a higher quality set that would last us well into the future. So glad we found this set- the unit was easy to set up (I was told, my husband did this), the poles were incredibly sturdy even when the ball was spiked directly at them, and the net itself is thick and durable. We also didn't realize that the set came with court markers that allowed us to use stakes and rope to delineate where the boundaries were, which was an awesome convenience at the park. Last game (with a different set), there were countless time-outs when boundaries were questioned and constantly moved around. This was great. Putting it back in the carrying case was simple, albeit a bit of work for a handful of people. Love the set, though. So glad we got it!

4Terrific so far!
By Michael Sena
I just bought this for a party at my house over the weekend, and while unfortunately it was shipped out late, the net itself is terrific. I've only had it up for a few days though, and it hasn't been windy or raining much lately, so we'll see how it stands up to the elements.PROS: - HUGE NET! - I guess I didn't realize it when I bought it on Amazon, but this is a regulation Volleyball net - 30 feet long! - Mostly Easy to set up - I laid out the poles, unfolded the net, lined up the ropes for the stakes, put the net on the poles, and was able to set up one pole at a time for a single-man operation. It took me over half an hour though, and if I had help I'm sure it would have taken me under 15 minutes - The stakes for securing the poles were pretty long and secure. - Includes volleyball and pump with two pins - Comes with a black carrying case - Includes lines for the field and mini stakes to secure everything. - Not plastic - metal poles!CONS: - I'm a little disappointed with the endcaps for the poles. On the top there's just a plastic stopper. I'm not sure if it'll stay on to deal with the elements, and I'm sure water will get through and cause problems. There are two loop-type screws on the top for securing the net to the pole and the stake lines to the pole, and those don't seem to be protected against the elements either. I'm expecting those to fail at some point. I'm not sure if the pole itself is weatherized at all, either. The bottoms of the poles are simply plastic feet. I was hoping for a tapered edge to really secure the poles into the grass. - I'm sure the poles are "metal", but they seem kind of flimsy. - The pump is somewhat flimsy and the pins didn't screw in well. - Didn't include badminton gear - I bought four franklin badminton racquets and shuttlecocks on Amazon and now the set is complete. - Not completely sure if this is worth the money ($150ish), but it beats the store price (over $200)Ultimately, I'm OK with this set. I noticed there were not many recent reviews so hopefully this helps those of you looking for a decent outdoors net system. I worked at a summer camp and this is clearly not the same caliber setup, but it's... decent.I'd be much happier if, given what you get, it cost $100, or if the price was the same but it answered my concerns better.I'll update this review at the end of the summer and the fall and let you know how it turns out.
