Love this sink. No mounting clips included!!!

Sink came much sooner than expected. Was so happy to receive it so quickly. When opened ONLY the template is included NO mounting clips. Called amazon they shipped another immediately since the description they give says clips are enclosed with every sink. Second sink arrived in 2 days, still NO clips. According to Elkay, the sinks do not have clips enclosed you must order them separately. Great price on Amazon for this sink. I love it!!

Poor Choice

I am sorry that I ever bought this sink. It was recommended by my contractor, and it looked wonderful, but I have only had it for a couple of months and it is already showing tiny rust spots. I have been very careful with it, and even have the stainless steel protective grid on the bottom, so I don't understand why this is happening. Since it is an undermount sink, I feel that I am stuck with it forever because my new granite countertop was installed using the Elkay sink's template. I am really worried about what the sink will be like at the end of a few years.This should never be happening with any sink, let alone such an expensive one. I bought it to replace a stainless steel sink that was at least 35 years old, and that one was in great shape (no rust stains ever) and I never even used a protective grid of any kind with the old one. I will never buy anything made by Elkay again, and hope to spare others from having the same problems.Disgusted.....

Great Sink!

I was going to get the 12" deep sink but I took the advice of and am thankful for another reviewer who commented that she bought the 12" deep sink but if she had it to do over she would buy the 10" depth; so that's what I did and I love it. As she pointed out, the countertop thickness adds another 1" so the 10" is actually 11" deep which is I think perfect.Also I love having one large bowl especially for oversized items like saute pans and baking sheets. The drain is set toward the back of the sink and I was pleasantly surprised by how much more room there is under the sink; you do have to use the sink sprayer somewhat more to coax material down the drain but I think the tradeoff is worth it.Buying the sink online saved me $155 over what I was quoted locally, plus no sales tax; delivery was very quick and the sink arrived in perfect condition.
