High quality, comfortable seat and hinges don't flex like seats having plastic seats and hinges. Worth the extra cost, plus with the open front there's more room for your thingy. Women buyers take note, this makes a positive difference for males.

Easy install, great looking and is exactly what I needed.... Seat is a little thinner than I expected, compared to my older standard (non open front) seat, but very sturdy.

Excellent quality and beautiful craftsmanship. My original was plastic and recently highly modified by my puppy. She has not been interested in this one, yet. Installed easily and is solid and stable.
