Good quality materials

I bought this to use as a generator extension cord. The cord is very flexible, good quality, and with 10 AWG wires as advertised(FYI it's stamped on the cord, I did not actually measure this). All the connectors appear to have copper contacts. I think for the price, this is a good value and pretty good quality. I measured the length, and ohmed out the cable.... everything checks out! I think the connectors on this cable are a little higher quality than some of the other cables sold here on Amazon. The connectors on these cables are not molded on the cable which I think is better because you can take them apart if you ever have issues.I did have one minor issue: On one of the connectors on this cord, the screws holding the backshell on were loose(they just missed these when assembling at the factory). Not a big deal, I just had to screw them in... only took a minute. For this reason I gave it one less star but overall the quality of materials are good so I don't expect to have any issues with this cord.

Excellent Product

With thicker gauge longer run cables, it becomes increasingly important that they are easy to coil, and so that was a primary concern for me. This cable is surprisingly flexible, and holds up well to some abuse. There aren't a whole lot of options when it comes to 30 amp power cords with three-prong twist lock connectors, so I was happy to see that these were so good when they arrived. I thought about getting a single 100' version, but I'm glad that I bought two of the 50' variety, since I can go shorter if the length isn't necessary, and connecting them safely together is easy due to the twist lock action.We repeatedly run them all day long, powering upwards of 3000 watts worth of electronics and lighting from a Honda EU3000i generator, and they don't miss a beat.
