a football shouldn't be hard to make

another reviewer had the same experience i did - it leaked when inflated - right through the hole through which you insert the pin. how that passed quality control, if there is any, is beyond me. whoever is making these should stick to pet rocks or rakes, something as simple as possible. Nerf footballs would also work - no worries about leaks.

Very nice football. I am very impressed with the quality. I would definitely buy this item again.I did receive a ball with different writing on it. It still says 1005, but in small print. Must be a new design. At any rate the ball quality is still there. I'm very happy.--------------Update:I've really enjoyed this ball thus far. It is an official ball, which was a selling point for me. However, it is a very hard ball. I can take the hard throws, but others I play catch with don't last. My recommendation for just "pick-up" games or playing catch with co-eds or of all ages, but still want a official regulated ball is to go with a Rawlings ST5 (soft touch). There are many versions out there so just do the research and you can't go wrong. It also is a collegiate/high school ball.

We purchased this football for our son-in-law who played football and continues to love it. He was very pleased with this ball and stated the quality was excellant, leather genuine and absolutely what he wanted. We were happy to make him happy and would definately purchase this ball again.
