This Electronic Switch is WAY better than mechanical ones

I ordered one of the mechanical sVGA switches so I can connect 2 sVGA 1080p sources into my Westinghouse LVM-37W3 1080p LCD, one of the source being a XBOX360. The results were lousy with wrong contrast and dynamic range. This active switch was perfect at 1080p with both my XBOX360 and my DELL XPS's X800XT sVGA output into the Westy LVM-37W3.Paul

Boy am I glad I bought this! You see, I've got two computers on my desk, and two monitors: one for the desk and one for the treadmill. So, I bought this so I could run two monitors into one cable that goes to an amplified VGA splitter that powers both monitors. I wanted to be able to switch both monitors simultaneously between both computers.Well, I purchased this switch based on the reviews and it works great. My desk monitor is an old really big CRT, and when it switches between computers it doesn't go through the painful sounding "switch off and back on" click that used to happen with an older KVM switch. With this thing, the CRT just blinks from one computer to the other. This is an excellent product and to me certainly worth paying extra for, and just may extend the life of my old monitor too.

I got this switch for connecting a Xbox 360 and a computer to a 19" Sony LCD. The results are awesome. My computer looks blurry but I blame that on the cheap VGA cable I bought and not on this switch. Super easy to set up and use. I highly recommended it.
