Product Description

The Woodhaven Firewood Rack has a Black Powder Coat finish. Woodhaven firewood racks are made in the USA from 16 gauge steel. Unlike the majority of other firewood racks the Woodhaven is built to provide a lifetime of service. From the precision drilled holes that ensure structural integrity to the stainless steel nuts and bolts that will not rust, most other racks use less durable galvanized steel, the Woodhaven is the last firewood rack you will ever need to buy! INCLUDED COVER: This uniquely designed cover keeps the top row of wood completely dry and ready to burn, and allows for air to flow through the firewood to reduce mold and mildew and promote curing! All of the covers fit around the four uprights of the rack and move down as the wood stack gets smaller. The cover is made out of top quality coated canvas, and has velcro front sides for quick access to your firewood. This included cover is only available in black. OPTIONAL FULL COVER: This is an additional full cover designed to be used in areas with extreme weather conditions only during the burning season after the firewood has cured. It is made out of the same material that our standard cover is, with the front flap held down with Velcro strips on each side. The optional full cover is only available in black.

5Great Solid Product
By Paul M. Wiedel
The 96WRC rack has been great for storing firewood. It is made from heavy gauge steel with a powder coated finish. There rack holds a full half cord like a champ, there's no flex or give in it even when fully loaded. The cover does a good job staying on. It's been pretty good at staying on during severe weather while the rack is full and there's only a couple of inches of post for the cover to ride. I've had to readjust the cover a few times after storms, but I've never had to go looking for it. So it's got that going for it, which is nice. One thing that I think people should be mindful of is the feet on the 96WRC aren't very big, they're maybe 2" by 3" and they may sink into softer surfaces. We dealt with that by putting ours on 4" X 8" X 2" concrete blocks.

5Best firewood rack by a long shot!!!
By Je Maintiendrai
If you plan to use a firewood rack to stack and dry logs outside and you look for a stand that endures for years to come, there simply isn't a better (and more appealing) rack on the market. We own and use six firewood racks, of which three are of different brands (ShelterLogic / Landmann.) The `other-brand' racks do not match the Woodhaven model in terms of quality, robustness, ease of assembly, and stability. Not even close. Even if the Woodhaven racks are easily twice as expensive as other brands, the price premium is worth it (if the objective is to use the same rack for more than 2-3 years.) Our non-Woodhaven racks (ca. 2 years old) are all showing notable rust spots, while the Woodhaven racks look immaculate still. Also, the 14" width of the Woodhaven rack (versus ca. 15.5" on a ShelterLogic) allows for smaller logs, which comes in handy for (us) ham-handed forest chainsaw operators. We've positioned all our racks on the property on 2" x 8" x 16" concrete pavers (positioned level over a gravel / paving sand base). Take a few minutes to put the footing in place; it's time well-spent. The (pavers / gravel / paving sand-) structure is low-cost and avoids trouble (sinking / tipping firewood racks) down the road. This last observation clearly relates to all firewood racks (and may come across as commonsense to many). I'm adding the (footing) comment merely as I learned the hard way (a tipped-over rack) that establishing a solid base (weather, temperature, soil-proof) is essential, regardless of rack variety.

5Woodhaven Firewood Rack
By Terry Gruggen
I own five of these and have had most of them for years. They are incredibly well built and are quite simple to put together. The cover is a fabulous design as it helps to keep my firewood nice and dry through our brutal Minnesota winters. I heartily recommend this product.
