Lifetime Warranty Honored

I bought this wagon six or seven years ago when I first bought my home. I used it to landscape my backyard--sand, sod, pine bark, compost, plants, you name it. Last week the wheel fell off. I logged on to buy another one and saw that the cart had a lifetime warranty. I found the Ames website, got the customer service number and called. I told them my wheel fell off and the front had been duct-taped for years. The person on the line spoke English, and he was polite and helpful. He asked me a few basic questions, and then asked for my address so he could have a new unit shipped to me. I am actually shocked that there is a company that honors its warranty. I strongly suggest this wagon and this company.AddendumMy cart actually arrived today.

Nice cart, but don't buy it for this price!

I just picked one of these up at Home Depot for $37, and that's their regular price! Don't pay over $100 for this, as it is here. It is a very nice cart, though -- quite stable and handy, although the wheels are somewhat cheap looking (hard plastic, not rubber). I don't think the wheels are a real drawback, though...they get the job done.

I needed a cart to haul away gravel from my old tar and gravel roof that I was stripping off. Gravel is very heavy, with each load half-way filled up easily being over a hundred pounds. I wasn't sure what type of cart to get, but knew I wanted four wheels and not having steel would be nice for long term longevity against rust. I was able to find the Ames cart at a local major home improvement store. The Ames cart is very lightweight when empty, which makes it a breeze to maneuver around. When loaded with the gravel, it was strong never once getting damaged. Roofing project is well over now and since then I've used this cart all the time to haul bags of rubbish to bringing in cases of soda from the car! Only downside are the wheels being pure plastic. This makes rolling resistance harsh and noisy on paved surfaces. Would be better if it had pneumatic wheels. But as I mentioned, the plastic wheels were plenty strong.
