Double layer offset, differential cut construction eliminates cold spots. Flip Over Hood allows users to flip the hood inside out giving the option of a flat hood or a fully contoured hood. Easy Access Drawcords with Barrel Lock Closures permit closure of drawcords on hood and storm collar. The cords are either flat or round, allowing users to easily adjust storm collars and hoods in low light situations. Hook and Loop Closures provide firm closure of the bag and prevent zippers from separating or opening. Anti-Snag Zipper Protection is sewn along the draft tube and zipper to ensure reliable zipper operation. Internal Collars are baffles sewn to the liner, used to prevent heat loss from the neck and shoulders. Draft Tubes are baffles sewn adjacent to the zipper to keep cold air out and prevent heat loss through the zipper coils. Weather Wedge is a small piece of triangular fabric that is sewn at the base of the zipper to prevent heat loss at the zipper's bottom. This also reduces stress at the point where the zipper is sewn for greater durability. Trapezoid Foot Box provides space in which the feet remain in a natural position for better comfort. Stuff sack included.

Great buy for the price

This is a great product for the price. I recently bought 2 of them and they were used on a trip to Isle Royale. I purchased 2 of the long versions and they worked out perfectly for myself and my brother who are both 6 foot 1. The long versions have plenty of room for even a person who is perhaps 6 foot 6. They are a 20 degree bag but i wouldnt go past 35 degrees with them. Thats just my preference though. The color of the bag as pictured is not the color that I recieved. But thats fine with me cuz the color does not effect the use and comfort of this bag.

We just got this bag today for our son. We got the short version of this bag, but I don't see that version on Amazon anymore. The outside is a very nice rip-stop nylon material and soft and cuddly, and the zipper is very smooth. The inside is a little scratchy, but I am sure it will be better after a washing. The drawstring around the hood pulls nice and tight to keep out the air. The only thing I was disappointed about was the color. The picture on Amazon, and on the box it came in, is turquiose. The bag is definitely NOT turquiose! It is a darker blue - closer to navy - color. And the yellow is more of a mustard color, not a bright yellow, and the inside is dark gray. But my son likes it anyhow, and of course it doesn't affect the quality of the bag. I like the fact that the hood turns inside out, too.UPDATE: We have since used this bag to go camping, and my son says he stays perfectly warm in it, although he does wear sweats while sleeping, too. it got down to freezing one night and he was completely warm.
