Made with a full grain leather/Cordura upper, the Wolverine Big Horn boot is also made with a Cambrelle Gore-Tex waterproof membrane lining that gives you rapid moisture release as well as being an abrasion-resistant fabric. This boot has a full-cushion insole that is removable, nylon shank, and is made with a 600 gram Thinsulate insulation, making it a breathable boot that removes moisture and retains warmth next to your feet in very cold conditions. With a composite toe that meets the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Z41 PT91 MI/75 C/75 standards, you can be sure that the Wolverine Big Horn boot will withstand accidental impacts and compressions that you may encounter. They are also rated for electrical hazards, providing you with protection against open circuits up to 600 volts in dry conditions. The rubber soles are made with a Goodyear welt,and are moisture-, oil-, and chemical- resistant. We realize traction is important, so these soles are also slip-resistant. Husband Loves These During the Winter in Central VA

My husband is very happy with the comfort, warmth, and sturdiness of these boots. He works outside during the winter months in rugged and wet conditions, these have improved his workdays in the winter immensely.

Very heavy

These are a nice boot just way to heavy. I wish they would make the Model 3196 again. That was a great boot. I doubt I will buy Wolverines again after wearing them since Herman shoes in Maine got bought out by China.
