THIS SPEAKER REPLACED A BLOWN E.V. SPEAKER.IT WAS THE SAME PRICE AS A RECONE.IT REALLY KICKS !! IN 35YRS PLAYING BASS AND GUITAR I CAN RECOMMEND THIS WOOFER AS XLNT.

These speakers are heavy real heavy; if you are using TH as I am by some back braces you will need them. Its frame is almost one inch thick. If you are using a flush mount cabinet these will stick out about a quarter of an inch. Power handle ability is great and even though they are tuned more towards 45hz on the low end they can hit the 20hz or 35hz but not as loud as the 45hz which they are tuned for. They widen the range of any cabinet making it louder and clearer. Great for PA; if you have a pastor who likes volume he will love these babies. I am impressed with a speaker finally after many years.

I had a Yamaha S115iv that this went into.. What a difference!. My only complaint is now I have to buy another one to balance out the PA because this speaker sounds so much better than the original.
