6/12V fence controler

I'm using the 6/12V controller for a chicken lot in a remote location. Before I got the controller, I had several entries by small animals, and lost about a dozen chickens. Since I put the electric fence up several months ago, I have lost no chickens. I use a Ray-O-Vac 6V Fencer battery, and it has lasted the entire time the fence has been up.
