Solved my problem

I was experiencing a real low humming noise coming from my subs that are built into my floor standing speakers when everything was shut off, but still plugged in. I suspected maybe it was from all the electricity traveling through the nine components I have plugged into a large surge protector, but who knows. I tried a couple of different quality sub interconnect cables with no luck until I purchased this cable that had the extra ground wire. Not only did it take the humming noise away the quality of my bass increased. Audioquest makes a great cable.

This is a very high-quality cable. Construction is solid, the audio quality is great, and the grounding cable is an excellent feature.

After years of using Monster Cable, I became upset by the low frequency hum of my subwoofer.I began to look for a new subwoofer cable.After reading reviews of several cables I decided on the Audio Ouest.The difference in sound is hard to explain, , its as if you were speaking from behind a curtain, and the curtain was removed. Everything became clearer.Not only was the bass louder and deeper, it made my whole system sound better.It was like adding new speakers or receiver but a lot cheaper.I also added an Audio Quest Y-splitter. The combination got rid of the hum . It's hard to believe they made such a big difference.Im a very satisfied customer.
