Effortlessly turns on and off

I'm a huge fan of Moentrol because it controls temp (left/right) and water on, off, and volume (lift up/press down). Many fancier systems say you need one knob for temp and one for volume (or you just don't get to adjust volume at all!). Also, this keeps your shower from feeling like a "gym shower" where you can't control the amount of water, just the temperature. We took out the temp stops, we're adults that have managed not to scald ourselves so far. We have an old Moentrol in our master bath and will definitely be replacing it in the remodel (this purchase was for out guest bath) with a new Moentrol valve because this new one is so easy to operate, it's not stiff at all like our old one and very easy to rotate back and forth.

Hmmm ok 20 words are required. Over priced product if purchased elsewhere BUT great price from Amazon. This valve is made well and operates very smoothly as it should. Just keep in mind this model (3520) needs to be soldered. It takes a lot of heat to get an object made of brass hot enough for it to draw in the solder. I had 2 tourches going at once and still had problems. If I had to do it over agin I would have gone with the 3510 model and just threaded my pipes. Would have been a lot less time and a lot less stress.

I have installed probably 100 of these. Great valves! Long lasting, easy to repair. These are the valves you want to have if you intend for them to last 50 years.
