Top-Notch Makita Quality As Usual!!!

90% of the power tools I own are Makita and I have never been disappointed. Mind you, I still have every Makita tool I've ever purchased since 1985....AND every single one of them is still in top operating condition. I also have a set of Makita air tools which include a framing nailer, brad nailer, and crown stapler. I can't recall whatever possessed me to purchase a Porter Cable angled finish nailer, but I should have known better. All my Makita nailers are working. My Porter Cable is not. I've replaced it with this Makita 15 Gauge Angle Finish Nailer and it is operating flawlessly. A very nice touch by Makita is they have already installed a quick-connect on the tool, so you don't have to buy one. Unfortunately no metal or plastic storage case. Based on measurements, I believe it will fit in a Makita aluminum case for a different tool. If I've done my research properly, I should be able to remove one layer of contoured foam and the tool should fit nicely. Will update you when the case arrives.A quick update. I ordered a Makita Aluminum Carry Case 823300-9 which came with a die-cut piece of foam for a drill. I lifted the die-cut foam out and this nail gun went in as if it were made for it. The inside of the case is completely padded, so no metal-on-metal issues. I purchased the case from TOOLSTOP in the UK. They ship FedEx to the US so shipping was a bit pricey, but worth every penny.
