4Easy Install - Quick Customer Service
By J. Thomas
At first the installation of these seems a little daunting, since I never did one before, but was pretty simple to complete. The mounting of the hardware was a breeze; it was actually getting all the parts into the cabinet with the pole in the center that was more of a puzzle. Thankfully our cabinets had some extra space on the sides that made this easier but I do see how a tight cabinet would potentially make this tricky. I got two of these and one was missing a part. The company very quickly sent out a replacement part. The other part to note is that the instructions, from the manufacture inform you to utilize the template; yet there is no template in the box. I was informed that this was a misprint for the 28" full circle models.

5Good choice...sturdy
By oh2az
Nice product, just ordered my 2nd one. The only problem is the assembly intructions are awful. However, if you keep staring at it long enough you will figure it out and it is pretty easy to install.

4The best 6x8 speakers the world will ever know
By CrunchyCookie
What's a guy doing reviewing 2005-year speakers at the dawn of 2011? Simple: Infinity made me buy these. In my research, I discovered that sometime in 2006, some idiots at Infinity made the baffling decision to lower the impedance of all their speakers from 4 ohms to 2 -- a total head-scratcher considering the entire aftermarket car stereo industry has long set the standard at 4. Infinity claims that its speakers are still safe to use with any stereo, but the owner's manual of my Pioneer makes an explicit contradiction, instructing NOT to hook up speakers with less than 4 ohms. I decided to place more faith in Pioneer's words, so instead of buying Infinity's current model 6x8s (the 6832CF), I had to scrounge around the Internet for worn used copies of these long-forgotten units. The end result: an unwanted compromise from my perspective and lost revenue from Infinity's. Lose-Lose.But oh well, I'm happy with what I've got. I've known since the 90s that Infinity speakers have the best sound around (though Pioneer and Polk come close), and that's certainly true of these: crystal clear trebles, sharp midrange, good specs (60 RMS watts, 49-21,000 Hz frequency response, 92 dB sensitivity), and an overall punchy, lively feel to the soundstage no matter what the source. Bass is only average (weaker, in fact, than the factory speakers they replaced in my Mazda 3), but there are no real negatives. The adjustable rotating tweeter is a nice touch. My only wish is that Infinity come back to it senses, so the next time I buy a car I won't have to be hunting for what will by then be decade-old speakers.

4Great for the money and a safe bet
By L. Olvera
I put these into my work truck a 2002 Ford Ranger. Accompanied them with a ported balfle and a cheap JVC deck power. They sounded nice and clear with good bass reponse and crisp highs. Latter I added an Amp 75 x4 to each of them and they realy came alive. They can't take that much power so Im only running the amp and half power. The only down fall is that the highs are a bit sharper then the infintys in the past but that can be mitigated by so many things its not a real issue. All and All a good safe choice for anyone who just wants good sound. Great for the money and not bad for a work truck.

5Great HP printer with networking built in.
By G. Ware
I had bought a HP 1020 to replace my old HP 895cse. I had run my 895cse through a Netgear USB print server. After buying the 1020 I found out that it was not compatible with USB print servers. I tried it on the Netgear and a Linksys product and both became unavailable after powering up the printer. You could see the print server until the printer was powered up and then the print server was unreachable.I was impressed with the 1020 so I wanted to stay with the printer but without the ability to network it was not usefull. I looked into network printer options and came across the 1022N. Basically the same printer as the 1020 with more memory, more pages per minute, and a built in 10/100 print server. The printer is very compact, is well built, and setup on the network was a snap. The printer is a little pricey but for a nice home network laser printer it's not too bad.I would recommend it for anyone looking for a nice home printer that allows for easy networking.

4Plug n Play Printing!
By wenfei
This printer took all of 8 minutes to install. Plugged it into my Linksys WRT54G 10/100 port and ran the software on my Win2K PC. Software installed, printer found on the network, and test page printed in less than 8 secs! HP has a good support page for the printer with links to software, firmware, and drivers. Hold down the GO button for 5 secs and the printer prints a configuration page with current firmware level and default settings. Printer properties can be adjusted easily through the Operating system printer properties page or through the 1022n's web page hosted through its internal server. You can reach it by browsing to its IP address on your local network. I haven't seen the problem with it losing connectivity on the network yet and it has been up for about 2 days. I will update if I run into the problem. The printer can also function on your network with a preset IP address instead of getting one from your router/gateway. This may enable it to stay connected more consistently. Just a thought...[update 7-2-07] So far, I have had no problems with the printer. It is stable on the network and I can print from a variety of computers connected to my wireless router. It is nice not having to have a dedicated computer as a print server. It has been almost a month since I bought it and my inkjet would have been out of ink by now. :)[update 3-17-08] This workhorse is still going strong. In economode, the cartridge lasts pretty long. I just changed the cartridge last month, but I stuck to HP branded toner. Let us know if you've had good experience with other refills.

2Not network friendly
By Rag Man
We chose this printer because of the network capability. The first printer stopped functioning correctly after three weeks. To print, we had to turn the printer off, then back on, and then print. We had to do this every time we wanted to print. HP sent us a replacement printer, and it worked correctly for 4 days. After over an hour on the phone with HP, I was told the printer is not very stable in a network application, and we should use the printer via a USB connection. If HP knows the unit is not stable in a network environment, then HP should correct the problem, or stop selling the unit.
