Simply the best

This is the lightest, strongest, most comfortable tent I've ever used. On several trips now the wind has been so strong as to flatten all the other tents around. You do have to guy out the corners very well, but once set up this shelter provides an awesome amount of room and comfort, and is way more packable than others. I also have the floor and bug shelter to go with it, but only pull those out for low-land trips in bug season. I have 2 other tents, including a Mtn Hardware Trango 2 and Sierra Designs Meteorlight 3d, but don't think I'll ever use them again.

lightweight and spacious

Used the Black Diamond Mega Light Tent as a 'kitchen' for three weeks on Mt. McKinley in Alaska. It performed flawlessly. Easy set up, easy take down, huge amounts of room, and fairly durable in spite of the lightweight fabric. Seam sealing is a bit of a pain, but it goes pretty quickly. I have also used this product for numerous backpacking trips, and have loved the extra room it provides. It has a large footprint, so snow ledges and heavily wooded areas would be tricky, but otherwise I can't praise this tent enough. Love it.

Good quality product

I absolutely love having this lazy susan in my pantry. I took out 5 over sized, too deep, unpractical shelves and replaced them with the 24" lazy susan. It was simple to instal (bolt the top, let it hang and then screw in the bottom). All 5 shelves rotate separately. It sure does make everything much more organized, easier to find and it's a huge space saver.It's got a metal rod in the center with white plastic shelves. I was afraid it will be a cheap built product and I'm glad I was wrong. It is all very sturdy.

Not bad - doesn't fit shaped skis

I just fitted this to my 998xt rack. It fits fairly well, and feels pretty secure. It's well made, and comes with all the accessories you'll need.The downside is that it's impossible to get my shaped skis (Rossi Bandit B3s) into the rack the way they suggest (back to back). They do fit, but less securely, as individual skis. This reduces the capacity to 3 pairs of skis, and not 6.Also the height of the rack, even with my relatively short skis, is insane - the tops of the skis stand a good 2 feet above the roofline of my SUV.To be honest.... I wish I'd bought a roof rack, and just stuck with the Thule rack for my bike.

Excellent solution for wintersports fans with soft tops

I bought this to use with my 2010 Wrangler Jeep. It works really well. It works using a base plate that fits behind your spare wheel, with mounting prong coming through the middle of the wheel. Once you have installed the bike rack and then added the ski rack it really is just one piece you have to turn, in order to un-mount or mount the entire rack. This is so much easier than mounting the rack on a roof rack as I had done previously. It looks great on the vehicle, and holds everything in place safely and securely (using the supplied locks). I would highly recommend it.

Does the job

I have this rack attached to my Thule 964 Revolver.No fit issues, very easy to install.Used it to take 2 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards on a 2000Km (round trip) ski trip this past winter.I like that the gear is low and easy to get at (no crawling onto the roof after a long day of skiing).Also very easy to use....slid them in, put the bar across, secure the lock....done.Just note that if your skis are very thick they must go in one at a time (not stacked together)and this means that this rack can not take as many skis as it claims. With 2 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards there was not room for more.Also since the skis/boards are exposed at the back of the vehicle, salt exposure leads to a rusting on the ski/board edges that was very upsetting for some in my group.I think that this is a problem with all rear mounted carriers. Not just this one.
