Great - but not what I need.

It took about a week or so for the watch to arrive and the watch itself looks great. Although, I am returning it because it does not calculate my heartrate as I wanted. I thought it would read my heart rate real time, but instead I must click a few buttons, count my heart rate for ten seconds, then press stop. This is not what I was hoping for. I want to be able to look down and see my heart rate at any moment during my workout.

Good for the price

Good watch for the price. The alarm is kinda musical rather than a harsh beep. Has a few nice features plus the numbers are big enough to actually read while you are running though overall the watch is a nice small size. .

Great watch for busy moms

This is not the most stylish watch, but I'm into utility more than style. The timer is great for timing kids' turns computer/video games, timing short naps between "chauffeur" stops, as a reminder of food cooking upstairs while you are working downstairs, etc. The stopwatch is great for helping with science experiments or chore motivation ("Can you beat your record for making your bed?"). When you have time in your busy schedule to exercise, the pulse monitor keeps you on target. I've worn this watch in the shower, in the pool, while bathing the dog, doing dishes, etc., and never had a problem with water getting inside. I've worn out two of these watches in the past 5 years. Each has lasted about 2.5 years. The display on the first went crazy and replacing the battery did not help. The strap that holds down the extra length of band, after it passes through the buckle, fell off six months ago. I have been using hair elastics to hold it in place until they cut through the strap yesterday. For this price, you'd better believe I'm ordering the same watch again!

Great knives for a great price!

After being disappointed with an array of cutlery over the years I finally found a set of knives that I enjoy using and even looking at. These are beautifully crafted knives that fit well in any kitchen. As for utility I have found the Chef's knife to be very well balanced and hefty enough to glide through about anything with ease. The 6" utility knife is very useful and can be used for an array of kitchen duties. It is especially handy for trimming fat and meats (ribs, briskets, etc). The 4" parer is great as a paring knife and can easily be used for trim work also. These three knives cover the majority of all kitchen work the average person is likely to encounter. The 9" sharpening steel is a necessity and I would not go without it. I would certainly add a block for storage to protect the blades. These knives are very, very sharp. Guard those fingers or you could lose them!The only thing I can complain about is Henckel's overall lineup of knives. I think they would be better served to drop their "cheap" lines of knives and just stick with the higher end stuff. To me the lower end knives just lead to brand confusion and disappointment. People who think the lower end knives are going to be as superlative as the "Pro S" or "Twin Star 4II" lines may become discouraged with the brand before they ever try the knives that Henckel are famous for. At least that's my $.02. Maybe I am too critical but when it comes to knives you should buy the best quality that you can afford. Life is too short to play with dull knives!

High quality knives, just the sizes you need

Don't get fooled into thinking you need a 12 piece knife set - you won't use 80% of the pieces on a regular basis. Far better to buy quality and get the three most commonly used knives instead. This has been a great set, holds its edge well. All it needs is a weekly tune-up on the included honing steel. The only other knife you need for a complete collection is a serrated blade for bread and bagels.

Fine cutting tools

These are simply the best knives I've ever owned. You can get better but unless you're a sushi chef you won't need it:PROS: They're super sharp and cut through just about anything with no problem; the weight is good and they're balanced very well; feel like they'll last forever; the handles are triple riveted and have no gaps.CONS: The smallest knife is too small to use for very much; they're not as sharp straight from the factory as they can be; the label on the handle is a sticker that will come off after using it a while; the printing on the blade fades after repeated [hand] washings.I've worked in restaurants where the chefs had their own personal knives and these are just like those. I highly doubt I'll ever buy another chefs knife again, and I can't believe I wasted so much time before trying to use lousy knives.Don't buy a huge set that has 15 mediocre knives in it. You can only use one at a time and you don't need a boning knife or shearing scissors or anything like that. Take the same money and buy a few really good knives in a couple sizes that you'll use often and you'll be better off.

Great Leverage

This cutter provides great leverage for when you are cutting. It is a great cutter; don't settle for the second-best cheaper model - you will regret it sooner rather than later. Get the good stuff the first time and save yourself money in the long run.
